Silks wasn't the correct term. I was trying to find a way to avoid saying shiny spandexy banana hammocks, thongs etc. If that's what people like, more power to them, but they aren't appealing to me.

I once dated a guy, and one time he wore this leather pair of bikini britches with an American flag patch on the crotch. Needless to say, I was flabbergasted when I saw them.
