Club Simplicité

She sips her drink and lets her eyes drift out over the club as a whole. A smile curves her lips at those on the dancefloor and then a wider one follows as eyes find a familiar face approaching. Turning slightly coy as he drew nearer.

"Well hello there..."

A sweep of eyes from face to floor and back.

"Hope your day was a good one?"

A wry chuckle escaped the bearded man's throat, and he gestured to the barman for a drink for himself and a refill of whatever the Bruja's potion of choice might have been.

Well, hello, yourself. And thank you for the well-wishes, but the day not only went completely off the rails, but then tumbled down an embankment and caught fire.

Takes the bombay and tonic that appears behind her and tilts it towards him with a thankful smile before taking a sip.
Expression growing concerned as he replies.

"Oh no...nothing too serious I hope..."

A slight step forward and a hand moves to rest lightly on his forearm.

picks up his own drink, a Knob Creek rye, double, neat, and returns the salute before taking an experimental sip from the tumbler and nearly sighing audibly in satisfaction.

No, no, nothing that can't be fixed, later. Still, not the easy day that I was expecting, by a long shot.

a deep breath is taken, and the cares of the day visibly put aside.

But, it's also nothing that can't be improved by the company of a lovely woman with cerulean eyes.

She feels her cheeks flush ever so slightly, as they have a habit of doing far too often and quite beyond her control.

"Well I'm glad you think so..."

Another sip, accompanied by a musical tinkling of ice as eyes regard him a little curiously.

"...and this is definitely the place to unwind and let go of all those things. All those problems."

She nods and gives a playful wink.

A low chuckle, almost a rumble, emanated from his throat.

Yes, this is quite the space, and filled with all number of pleasing distractions. Have you had the chance to look around, much?

He leaned casually against the bar, his eyes turning from the pretty Bruja to sweep over the swirling dance floor and the club beyond.

I hear that there are balconies, private rooms...All sorts of hidden delights.

"Only a little...although there is quite the view from the terrace...if you don't mind heights. I'm not the biggest fan, but as long as I don't go too near the edge, I'm alright."

She admitted with a quiet giggle.

"But I must say I am itching to investigate a little, when an opportunity arises."

Blue eyes sparkled up at him, over the rim of her glass as she took another small sip, reflecting the lights that danced around them.

"I do like exploring...and finding new things."

He smiled at the thought of a view of the city, but then nodded slowly as she mentioned a dislike of high places. He wasn't particularly afraid of heights, but had his own...dislikes, and therefore understood where she was coming from.

Raising his own glass to his lips, he took another sip of the spicy, fiery rye, then pushed away from the bar and offered his arm to the woman.

Shall we do some exploring?

"I think that sounds like an excellent idea!"

A slightly shy smile before she stepped closer and allowed her empty hand to move and slip through the offered arm and hold it gently.

Chin tilting a little to allow her eyes to meet his. He was a little taller than her, the heels helped close that gap to almost nothing but not entirely.

"Lead on, good sir...lead on."

A giggle as they moved away from the bar.

"Now...which way to go first..."

She glares as the tie is pulled, a mocking scowl. Her dress feels too coarse, too tight, too much. The shining lips are swollen and empty, daring, remembering. The mood has not changed. It's merely shifted in its arrangement, passing on to a new level. The more they drag it out...

But they both knew it would be dragged out.

Her hazel eyes meet the green, secrets passing back and forth. Only Cat could have understood, could be patient enough. So she steps forward, holding the tie, the slack giving and giving, until she stands next to her date. A mouth is raised to an ear, hair brushed aside, a murmur. A rueful giggle. Kiss to an earlobe, resisting the pull to bite and lick, to tease. Her arm goes around the slim waist again and she starts to walk back to the bar, where her bag and drink sit, forgotten.

Until now.

The ice has long since melted in her beverage, she notes. The flirtatious bartender starts at the sight of her and rushes to make another drink. As if making a show of good faith, he delivers the freshened glass and another cocktail for the Cat. She glowers at him, tosses a five across the bar. So much for sycophantic service. Opening her clutch, she pulls out a shiny smartphone. Fingers scroll. A wrinkling of her brow.

She glances at Tigress, chuckling dryly.

That shipment couldn't be delivered.

Taking a sip of her drink, sighing. A matter of fact statement,

Tuesday.

He grinned as she took his arm, and he began to move at a relatively slow pace away from the bar, not sure how she managed to move at all in her heels and not wanting to make her scurry too much to keep up. As he saw that she moved quite elegantly in them, which he should have anticipated, he picked up the pace a bit.

Well, let's take a quick look outside, and I promise we won't go too close to the edge. After that, I've heard about various...little spaces, here and there. Special, but hard to find.

Dark eyes lit by a flash of mischief regarded her blue ones.

Sound interesting?

She kept close, as much to prevent tripping in her shoes in the dim lighting as a wish to be a little closer to the gentleman she'd heard much of.

There was a nod in answer to his suggestion.

"I think that sounds very interesting indeed and the view is really worth the trip upstairs."

Another small nod and a slightly tighter hold of his arm at the thought of the heights.

"And I feel quite sure you'll keep me safe up there."

The suit-clad man nodded very seriously as they approached the shallow flight of stairs that led to the outdoor terrace.

Oh, but of course. I can promise you, with one hundred-percent certainty, that no young woman (or anyone else, for that matter) has plummeted to her demise while in my company. Nevertheless, just in case...

A quick, wolfish grin

I promise to keep a very close eye on you. You know, should you start to stumble or something.

"Well, that makes me feel so very much better..."

She laughed, although a little less feely than before. Feeling a cool breeze drifting down from the outside, toying with strands of hair and dancing across bare shoulders.

A few upwards steps and through an impressive set of glass doors and they were upon the rooftop terrace. The city skyline in all it's glory appeared to be all around them and easily within touching distance.

She had to smile. It was a stunning view.

"Gorgeous, isn't it?"

She sighed quietly, holding on to the fabric of his suit that little bit tighter and moving to stand a fraction closer than previously. The gauzy material of her dress now dancing lightly around her knees.

He shifted slightly as he felt her grip tighten on the charcoal wool of his suit, moving his solidity a bit closer to her in a way that could have been reassuring. Even as he moved he was glancing around, drinking in the sights of the illuminated buildings all around, and the few stars visible in the night sky, even despite the city lights.

It truly is, and clearly this location was very well-chosen. Did you have anything to do with that? I heard this rumor that you were somehow involved with this place...

His question trailed off, and he regarded her with one slightly inclined eyebrow.

A vaguely guilty smile flickers onto her face.

"I might have helped a little in the design of the club...a few touches here and there to help with the look of things...the location though, which is spectacular, was all Miss Tess."

Feeling a little of the anxiety dissipate at the frame close to her own, leaning against it without really realising.

"I was just happy to be able to help at all...it was a brilliant idea and it seems to be going very well so far."

Another smile before eyes leave her companion to travel over the glittering facades that towered over them.

Returns to the Club after another busy day. Took a little time to watch the football but it was like flogging a corpse! Catch the bar tenders eys and order a large Jamersons on the Rocks

"Good evening to anyone who is here."

The Tigress couldn't help but smile as the glare took over the pretty lady's eyes. She watched the thoughts move through her head. She could see the unspoken secrets within those hazel depths. The thoughts, the needs, the hungers buried beneath. The Tigress knew how it would end. The circumstances wouldn't matter. The dynamic wouldn't matter. There were many paths that could be taken. But the heat, the ever growing hunger that both of them were fighting, would eventually be released...And the thought of it brought a smile to the Tigress' lips. Sultry. Knowing. Anticipating.

But she pushed the thoughts to the side for later contemplation, preferring just to enjoy the view presented to her. Tess was inching forward, heel step by heel step. She couldn't look away. The woman was beautiful. She was capable. Her mind was sharp and quick. And she wanted the Tigress. Why? The Tigress would never know. But she wouldn't question it. She would just keep considering herself lucky.

So close again, but so far away. That hand wrapped within the crimson silk that encircled her throat. When lips found her ear, whispered and giggled, she shivered, unable to help the twitch of her ear. She laughed in return, fighting the urge to turn her head just enough to steal another kiss. As an arm slipped around her waist, her arm slipped around her date's shoulders. She held her loose, but close. A presence, but not a demand. Not a chain.

Back at the bar, she raised an eyebrow as another of her favored drinks was brought. She almost declined it, but reached out with her free hand to claim it instead. Tess' voice caught her attention and she glanced over, chuckling lightly as she took a small sip.

I'm telling you. She's a wench, that one. I've no doubt I'm going to have to search your entire store for my bag when I go back for it.

Finishes her drink and hands the empty glass back to the bar tender

"I really ought to get to bed. Goodnight all".

Walks to the door, opens it and blurrs into a haze as she is absorbed back into the real world.

A brisk walk found him at the front door. He had his invitation in hand, unsure if he needed to present it to the doorman. Finding that he did not, the man simply let him in with a nod, he stuffed it into his back pocket and stepped into the club. He took a moment to adjust his tie, and brush a few stray hairs off of his suit. Running his hand through the short stubble on top of his head, he led the sounds of the foyer wash over him. The music was not to his taste, not that he expected it to be. He was not the sort to go shake his stuff on the dance floor.

He looked around briefly, then made his way to the bar. Nodding to one of the staff he handed them a box. He shouted to be heard over the music. “I’ll take a coke, and if you could do me a favor. Have someone bring this to the mistress of the establishment when she is free.”

He settled himself at the bar with his drink, looking out over the crowd thoughtfully.

Within the neatly wrapped box was a bottle opener, and a hand written note.

“Congratulations on your successful opening little bird. May it bring you many nights of entertainment.

FD”

The Tigress watched the rest of the establishment, even as her arm never left the shoulders of her date. Her fingertips teased the skin beneath the dress causally when she spotted the well dressed gentleman entering the club. Ever patient, she waited until she found his seat by the bar.

She turned her back to lean against it, taking a slow sip of her drink. Her arm moved away from the beauty's shoulders, but her fingertips trailed down an arm, entwining her fingers with Tess'. Her stance was open, inviting. Almost a challenge to the pretty lady beside her.

But she turned her head and smiled at the gentleman, raising her glass to him.

Hey you.

He skimmed over the crowd, watching to see if there was anyone he knew. He did not have time to finish his scan before the lovely Tigress came into his view. She had Tess in tow. He smiled, they were a lovely pair. He did not greet her in a normal way, the often given hug, or a kiss on the cheek. Instead he simply claimed a hand with his. Pulling it up to place a gentle kiss across the back

"Hello lovely one, I hope you are enjoying yourself?"

The Tigress raised an eyebrow as a slender hand was raised, lips brushing against the skin across it. It was a gesture she was not accustomed to being on the receiving end of. But she smiled softly and nodded her head politely in return.

I am. This place suits a side of me that I don't get the chance to let out often. How are you?

Oh? Well then it is good that you are able to enjoy it here, and with beautiful company I see. Myself, I am not much of a dance club kinda guy. Only kind of dancing I do is slow dancing, and I don't drink, so there is not much to draw me to a place like this. Although there has been a woman or two who managed to pull me out to the floor in the past.

grinning at the memory he takes a sip of the carbonated beverage.

Lets just say I needed distracting.

Stepping out of the cab, one leg at a time, she glanced back at the cab driver and with a smile and nod of appreciation she closed the door. A big blue sign seemed welcome her. She hoped this would be the right place to make friends as she was new to the area. She stepped forward again anticipation to which she hoped was eagerness. This place had just opened and she hoped with all her heart she didn’t need any invitation to get in. She dressed as fancy as she could manage. It was a simple short sleeveless dress. It was black with a shimmer of bronze. The neck line dipped down just enough. The dress stopped in the middle of her thighs. This was perhaps the oddest part of the dress for her; she never wore things this short and figuring out how to walk and sit in it was turning out to be something she needed to practice at. A small smile flashed across her face remembering the dress being a gift. There was never a reason to wear it until tonight. Hopefully she would be able to make it through the night and hang it up knowing it was worth every uncomfortable moment in it. She wanted to impress, though deep down she didn’t know if she was at that level. Stepping up again the closed door lay in front of her. She was almost shaking; she closed her eyes and grabbed a fond memory that always calmed her. Deep breath she reached for the door, boldly opening it, she stepped inside. It was amazing, she giggled as she realized that it was just the entrance and she was already impressed. Everything had a lovely blue about it; she hoped her blue eyes would adjust to a lighter color to match this beautiful place. Another foot forward, remembering to breath, she gave a big smile and head nod to the man by the door. If she had to have an invitation she wouldn’t make it far. Another step forward and he didn’t stop her. A small wave of relief filled her as she moved a little faster to get inside before the doorman decided to change his mind. How embarrassing it would be to thrown out once she made it inside and everyone could see her. Pushing that horrible though out of her head she entered the main area, a strong music beat brought on another smile, she didn’t mind music like this. She was in a club after all. Scanning the room she could see an impressive bar and some very lovely chairs that called for her to accompany them. There were people at the bar, her heart started racing. They were all so magnificent, how was she ever going to manage this. Breathe another step forward. She knew the drink she wanted. A stunning man in a suit was talking to two incredibly beautiful women. Hopefully she could get to the bar without interrupting their conversation. She moved down the bar a little ways down and smiled at the bartender.

English bulldog, please and thank you.

She nodded with a big smile, she was here, and she made it to the bar and ordered something. Her nervousness and worries were slowly melting into excitement for what this night could truly bring for her.
