Club Simplicité

The Tigress laughed lightly and nodded once in acknowledgement. She raised her own drink to her lips, the taste of pineapple and rum spilling across her tongue. But it wasn't as good as the flavor she had sampled on the dance floor. The thought brought a slow smile to her lips.

Mmm..Indeed. I was extremely lucky that such a beautiful woman would ask me to accompany her tonight. And club atmospheres are not for everyone. But they are good distractions and a good place to people watch.

But her sharp emerald gaze shifted, tilting her head as she watched the woman she had not seen before skittishly enter the bar. She waited patiently. She would either make it to the bar or run. Flight or fight. That's what the Tigress saw. But bravery won through and she ordered a drink. The Tigress sipped her drink before setting it back on the bar. She pulled out the cost of the English Bulldog plus tip and slid it across the bar to the bartender. She smiled, and it was friendly and warm to the new comer.

Greetings, Miss. Welcome to Simplicité. I'm Tigress. It's my pleasure.

She offered the other woman her hand to shake, leather bracelet hanging from a slender wrist.

Looking over a pair of sharp green eyes were addressing her. She was breathtaking.

Thank you very much! Is this your establishment? It’s beautiful; I can’t thank you enough for opening such a lovely place.

She wanted to say more, realizing she would babble this lady into leaving her. An exquisite hand was held out with a leather bracelet dangling from it. She looked at the bracelet for a moment, intrigued, though it seems to fit with a name like Tigress. She smiled back and lightly took the hand shaking it awkwardly. It was so soft, she didn’t want to let it go and hoping her hand wasn’t sweaty and uncomfortable for her.

It truly is my pleasure to meet you. Thank you so much for the drink.

Her smile widened and she shook her head. Her hand clasped the other woman's, strong and steady, a hint at the muscle beneath gray long sleeve dress shirt she wore. The sleeves had been rolled up to her elbows. But the shake wasn't oppressing or overpowering.

I'm afraid this place is not of my doing, but of the gorgeous Tess here.

She looked back over to her date, the woman to which her other hand seemed to constantly find a small attachment to. But she quickly found the other woman's gaze again. She was gorgeous, the dress suiting her. She would fit in here just fine.

It was my pleasure, pretty lady. You don't have to thank me.

a warm smile drifting to his lips as he listens to the Tigress' words. She was right of course, and that was his intention. No drinking, minimal dancing, well he would catch the denizens when they were not occupied with other things. Nodding his head with a chuckle that was nearly drowned out by the music.

Oh I can't argue that fact, nor would I want to.

her movement caught his eye, and that was when he noticed the newcomer. His glance at her attire was just enough to appreciate the effort she put in, but not long enough to be disrespectful, or leering. She was too far away for him to be heard over the music, so he simply raised his glass, nodded his head, and offered a smile to the lovely woman.

She couldn’t help but blush, such a compliant. She followed the piercing green eyes to the lady she called Tess. Another beauty, she was proud to be so close them all.

I may try and thank her myself, if I get the chance. I would like her to know that what she has done here is most appreciated.

Next to Tess was a dashingly handsome man in a very complimentary suit. Now she truly was out of her league. He raised his glass and smiled at her. She could feel her stomach jump; she knew her cheeks were giving her away. Another deep breath she lifted her glass and returned the kind gesture with a very wide smile and hot pink cheeks.

The phone was slipped back into a clutch, auburn hair tossed around to maximize its waves. She carefully moved around the Cat's arm, not dislodging it, but instead resettling it, placing a warm hand flat on her stomach. Tickling lightly with fingernails.

She is a wench. And yes, I suppose you're right.

A sigh. Hand left the Cat's torso and claimed her gin, watching the blue light shift in the ice.

Of course, that's what she wants.

She smiled impishly, taking a sip. A zing on her tongue. Her eyes passed to the recent arrivals, and she realized she had been remiss in her hostessing. She set the drink back down and sat up in her chair, glancing around for the barcreature.

Where is that--there he is.

A repressive glare at the young man's biting of lip. He freed it then, white teeth gleaming, but his eyes didn't look any less rascally.

Please make sure that the two new guests have whatever drinks and food they wish, first service. Gratis, of course, handsome.

She watched him flit away, and then paused to mutter to Tigress,

Where did they find him?

before attending to her duties. A nod for the gift giver--she'd get to him later. The new woman, however. Tess stood up, gracefully, her heels effortlessly moving to the floor. She, on the other hand, had known quite well the length of her dress and it moved as such on her thighs. Shifting closer, feeling the Tigress at her back--her patience was extraordinary. Tess smiled, in warmth and welcome for the woman she had not met, but also that she had picked a gem by asking the Cat to accompany her.

Hello. I'm Tess, and as the lovely Tigress has already said, welcome to Simplicité.

Hazel eyes taking in the blue, and then traveling over the dress, the hair, the bared limbs, the heels. Flicking back up to the woman's gaze in approval, and perhaps something a little more--restraint was, after all, not her strong point--she held out a dainty hand.

And your name? You look exquisite. Most...

A tilting of her head, the falling curls capturing the light. Her smile was devious, promising. The sweet voice was always at odds with her ferocity. Always a struggle.

...scrumptious.

There was no way her face could blush anymore. Her long dark brown hair was always fall off from behind her ears where she liked it. She slowly pushed her straight hair back behind them so she wouldn’t cover the view of this wonder place and the lovely ladies in front of her.

Hello Miss Tess, my name is Merla, it is a great pleasure to meet the creator of this wonderful place. It is quit breath taking as is the company around me.

She eagerly takes Tess’ hand knowing it was going to be as soft and pleasant as Tigress’. As her hands wrapped around her lovely fingers she tried not to squeeze to hard. She gave a little nod as she held her hand and with a little regret left it go.

The Tigress smirked just a bit as Tess shifted. The crimson silk tie fell back into place, extending down the length of her torso, teasing along those nails as they tickled. She raised her eyebrows twice at the beauty, playful and silly.

Oh, I know. She's a schemer, that one. You can see it in her eyes. But I think I can handle myself.

She glanced behind her as the rude bartender finally graced Tess with his presence. She shook her head just a bit.

I'm not quite sure. He's not exactly the most...customer service oriented individual.

It was the most polite term she could come up with, taking another slow sip of her drink. But that smirk returned as Tess slipped from her chair, finding the pretty new addition to the club. She shifted just slightly against the bar, swirling her drink around in her glass, more than content to watch the scene in front of her play out.

Her own grip was easy and used a perfect amount of firmness. The grin widened and she considered the brunette, her fingers falling back to rest against her abdomen. Relaxed. Perhaps curious.

Well, Merla. Nice to meet you. Thank you for your compliments, it was quite an endeavor to structure this place. But now, I'm perfectly happy to step back and watch visitors to Simplicité do what they will. It's always delightful to see how things play out. Everything is to your satisfaction, I hope? Barman not giving you trouble?

A brief frown as the man in question hurried by, winking cheerily at her. The Tigress commented on him and she giggled, ducked her head. Angled her mouth back.

I'd like to see what some of our guests would make of him. Future guests, too.

Returning her attention to Merla, she smiled again. More brisk this time, businesslike. Still pleasant, but the devilish gleam was gone from her expression.

Now, gorgeous, feel free to wander as you wish and speak to whom you wish. There are so many rooms here, I haven't even been in all of them, and I'm quite thorough.

She reached out and took another sip of her drink. Considered briefly.

Mm, yes, quite thorough. But that is neither here nor there. Welcome, again, and please, enjoy yourself.

A wink, barely there and then gone, and Tess returned to her chair, leading the Tigress by the hand.

Smiles and winks, she could feel butterflies in her stomach. Tess was right, they had other things to attend to and she enjoyed the time she was able to obtain from the lovely ladies. Hopefully they’ll be available to chat with again, she had a feeling they would be well worth her time impressing. She nodded back to Tess and Tigress and they placed themselves back at the bar. There were places to be explored; but for now she wished to steal one last smile from the handsome man at the bar and find her that seat. She hadn’t had any issues with the bar tender; he had given her a nice smile a very well made drink. She laid a few dollars on the bar with a nod to the bartender. Stepping away from the bar she turn just enough to catch the eye of the suited man at the bar giving a sweet smile and nod hoping he’d return the gesture before she found her seat.

The Tigress follows, more than happy to, gaze drifting along the form of the woman leading her. But when the beauty found her seat one again, the Tigress decided to dip into temptation, even if it would only be for a moment. She reached down to grip the lady's chair and, with a quick flex of muscle, spun it around so Tess' back would be to the bar. She then leaned in, placing one hand on either side of her date, caging her in. That smirk returned, that tie hanging between them.

She leaned in, teasingly slow, angling her head just right to press her lips to the beating pulse in a slender throat. Her intention had been to keep it that simple, but she found herself sinking teeth into soft skin, nipping down. But it was a moment, nothing more. The pretty woman was the hostess, and the Tigress had too much respect to steak her time for too long. She leaned back, released the cage....but held her gaze...

Black pinstriped fitted slacks, a simple silk blouse, a business jacket to match the slacks. Brunette hair slightly curled, falling over the shoulders and down the back. It wasn't really a 'club look', but she really didn't care. She wasn't going to be here long enough for it to really matter anyways.

One drink. One drink then she was off. Off to the land of idiots, off to work. Only hopes that today would be a better day than the one before. It wasn't likely, but one could hope. Let the day be problem free, let the idiots stay home, and let the workers do their jobs.

Let it be easy.

Silently, she made her way through the doors. Eyes scanning the new place quickly before she was carried toward the bar. Her body moving easily to avoid the sea of people who were dancing, chatting, and just having fun. She almost lost her cool when a large group of girls just stopped in front of her. Seriously? Clearing her throat failed to get their attention. Words on the tip of her tongue as she decide to just push through them suddenly. They shouted things, things her mind had no care of hearing as she just continued through, ignoring their remarks.

"Smith and Wesson, please..." she said as she finally reached the bartender. Her credit card placed into his hand. "And, keep tab open."

She may just have two drinks.

She walks, boots hitting the ground softly as she approaches the building before entering. She's learned her lesson. No heels. She can't last in them. She smooths her dress as she enters, looking around, pushing her straightened red bangs behind and ear. She makes he way to the main room, and immediately to the bar. This time, she doesn't hesitate.

Can I get a rum and coke?

She smiles, and for a moment she wonders if he'll serve her. He does, and she thanks him, before turning to survey the room. She spots a familiar face, one she didn't expect to see, and moves to her, a bright smile on her face.

I thought you were too busy to come, Dream. But I'm glad you did.

Whirled around, she gave a startled laugh. Pondering for a moment the wisdom of wrapping her legs around the Cat, she instead modestly eases them to the side. Their eyes met for an instant: Tess amused, the Tigress... intent. She licked her lips involuntarily, her heartbeat picking up. The steps were shifting again. The toned arms leaned forward, surrounding her, blocking her--not that she wanted to escape. It certainly made things interesting.

Perspective.

A mood change. Or, at least, one that had been kept at a simmer and was nearing a boil. For the moment, Tess slipped down, her head baring her throat as the beauty came for her. The scent that had so dazed her before returned, feminine and desirous and wild. Her throat trembled as lips touched and her elbows leaned back onto the bar, hands gripping the tie, not pulling but bracing. Curious. So very curious to what--

The teeth scraped, and then bit into her skin. A gasp crept from her mouth. Almost a promise, a bargain for the Cat's patience. A breathless giggle,

Feeling hungry, babe?

Her fingernails reached up for that hair, itching to tug, to turn her, seek her eyes again. It was unnecessary. For all she wanted more of that mouth, those teeth, the woman pulled back and regarded her. Seconds ticking by, with the breath rising and falling rather more markedly than before. At least for Tess.

You--

An entrance by a new patron caught her eye. She grinned, admiring the line of the suit and nudged Cat.

--are so lucky she just walked in. I have to make sure that demon barman is taking care of her.

She plucked up the hand of her teasing date and led them over the short distance to where the newcomer sat, looking quite breathtaking--a suit is a suit, after all. Tess snapped at the ogling bartender,

Get moving, kid. That drink is not to be charged.

before moving to say to Dream,

Thank you for coming. I wasn't sure if we'd see you or not, you look lovely. And please, the drink is on me. Especially if you have to deal with that guy behind the bar.

Her eyes pulled away from the bartender, moving to land on the source of the voice. A smile curving on her lips as she pushed off the stool, missing the lovely one on the cheek. "Hello Darling. I'm only crashing like I said. Sadly, time is against me and I'll have to go soon."

As Tess approached her smile widened. "Aw, dear... He's doing alright. No need to be hard on him." She moved to kiss Tess on the cheek, one arm remaining around Lily's waist. "And, I insist on paying."

She smiles and blushes at the kiss, pouting as she's told that the beauty will soon be leaving. She leans in to return the kiss.

You look absolutely beautiful, as always.

She turns at Tess approaches, and smiles at her, lifting a hand to wave. She grins widely.

Yo, yo, yo.

Grinning at the kiss, she set her clutch at the bar and took a sip of her own drink.

Well, time will tell. He's an imp, that much is certain. How are you? And I figured I'd offer for your drink, at least, but anyone in a suit like that can take care of her own refreshment.

Laughing at Lily's greeting, she replaced her glass and tapped a finger against her lip, pretending to consider.

I would bust into our little secret here and now, but I think I should wait. I love your dress, sweetpea, you look wonderful. Having a good night?

giving the woman near him that smile she was seeking. She was closer now so that allowed him the opportunity to greet her with a bit more formality. His voice was deep and almost lost in the rumbling base, for he was naturally soft spoken.

"hello. Welcome to the club. I hope you enjoy yourself. Most everyone here is nice, and if they are not feel free to let me know. I'll kick them in the teeth for ya."

There was just a hint of playful mixed in with the warmth of his greeting. Then his eyes flicked to the new entries at the bar. A wide grin splitting his features. It never failed. She drew attention everywhere she went. He turned to his new friend.

" Excuse me for just one moment."

he closed the distance between himself and Dream. He pressed himself against her side just enough for her to recognize the familiar shape of his body against her. His lips finding a way up to her neck. A soft trail of love bites found a path up to the lobe of her ear. Another gentle bite offered, before he whispered something in her ear for her only. Then he spoke more plainly.

"Have fun Princess."

one final kiss to her cheek and he detached from her to let her socialize while she could.

She laughed softly. The arm around the girl's waist tightening slightly, pulling her closer. She ran the other hand softly down the Lily's opposite side. Her lips finding the girl's ear.

"As do you, Darling. Soon, I might have to steal you and rip that dress off."

She grinned, letting the hand fall away as the bartender returned with her drink. She took a sip before grimacing. The glass quickly thrusted back toward him. "Woah, buddy. A lot less vodka and a little more Pepsi..... you know what. Nevermind. Just give me a Jack and Coke." Her fingers moved, gesturing an amount. "This much Jack..." then they widened only a little, "this much Coke. Got it?"

She was about to turn back to Tess and respond when a sudden squeak came out. A familiar warmth felt against her side. Lips, teeth, heat against her skin. She grinned, a slight shade of pink taking her cheeks at his words. Then she just chuckled, eyes turning to watch him go before clearing her throat. "My... Excuse me. Where were we?"

Her smile widens at Tess's response.

Oh, I wish. I could die happy.

An arm pulls her tight, a hand down her side. She feels a shiver in her spine at the lips on her ear, and then the words, a blush moving to her cheeks. She bites her lip, and looks at her, a small smile appearing. She turns as the hand is removed, and finds herself missing it.

As FD appears, she watches. She smiles at him as he detaches, glad that he showed up, but knowing he won't stay nearby, for now. She makes a mental note to find him again, later.

he drank in her reaction as he settled down back to his seat. The obvious pleasure was written on his features. He was watching her, his eyes never left her. He was grinning like a fool as he took another drink of his coke.

he saw lily's smile out of the corner of his eye, then he turned to her and returned it with an inclination of his head.

The gasp hit her ears and she savored it, the sweet sound. Breathless. Hungry. She would have more before the night was done, but not now. Not with the teasing words and company to be seen. So, when the beauty moved to say hello to someone new, the Tigress followed. Not that she wouldn't have anyway. She would follow to watch the woman walk all night.

She smiled at Lily and at Dream from over Tess' shoulder. She let her gaze wonder, appreciating the form in the suit. It was obvious, but respectful. She bowed her head once to the pretty lady.

A pleasure to see you, Dream. I know we don't speak much, but you look amazing. Welcome.

She switched her gaze to Lily and gave her a warm, friendly smile.

Welcome back, Trouble.

She smirked, the tone cocky and playful.

He felt the subtle shift as the blue-clad Bruja moved closer, and a small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. Neatly shrugging his arm out from beneath her hand, he instead placed a steadying hand at the small of her back, the warmth from his skin radiating even through the material of her dress.

If you had something to do with the design, then you are to be complimented, indeed. It's gorgeous.

Applying gentle pressure with his hand, he steered her away from the edge, and back towards the doors into the club proper, his curiosity to see what else the space hid overcoming his fascination with the city's skyline as viewed from their current perspective.

He grinned at her quickly before noting,

Though, perhaps if you've had a hand in the layout, I should be asking you where the most interesting parts of the place are.

Pressure at the base of her spine was both reassuring and a little unnerving at the same time. His hand felt warm, and large. A shy smile as she allowed him to guide her back inside and away from the anxiety inducing edge of the building.

"I'm glad you think so but really, my part was rather small. A few suggestions here and there...like the terrace back out there..."

Heels clicked steadily on the floor as they headed along the walkway, it ran along a balcony of sorts, looking down onto the bar and the dance floor below. She paused to lean forwards on the railing and look down, smiling at the people enjoying themselves.

Looking back over her shoulder to her companion, with a mischievous smile.

"But if it's interesting places you seek...that would largely depend on what your interests might be..."
