I’m just more interested by people’s personal experience than studies we know shit about the methodology they used and how accurate they are (I’ve actually heard time and time again that penis size studies aren’t very reliable because how hard - no pun intended- it is to select candidates and obtain reliable numbers).

You can actually read alot about the methodology. CalcSD is probably the best online repository of data, and they do a decent bit of digging into the studies, their methodology, how and why they included some studies but not others, etc..

And yes, penis size studies can be difficult to get a representative sample, which is why a metastudy including a variety of different studies is a good way to normalize the data. Which, by the by, is what CalcSD does and why I like it as a reference point.

And this isn't coming from somebody who is "average" sized trying to justify it or something. Penis size is just something I've found interesting on an academic level in the recent past so I actually looked into the research on it. Started when I had to go condom shopping again and had to measure to get a proper fitting, ha.

Ask a urologist. ..Serously. ..Ask a board-certified urologist. They see TONS of penises - both erect and flacid - and have no reason whatsoever to over or understate size. They'll tell you you the average flacid penis is under 5" and the average erect penis is under 6" and average erect girth is under 5" (ie., basically the same averages reported by CalcSD).

AND they will probably tell you to quit fixating on penis size and focus more on the health of the person it's attached to.

And no, they don't grow 'em bigger overseas. ..If they did, wouldn't women's vaginal openings and vaginal volume be bigger in those countries as well? ..Curiously, you never hear about that. And that's because it's not a thing.. Just like dicks being bigger in certain countries isn't a thing.

The study I quoted was published in the British Journal of Urology, to the best of my knowledge around 9-10 years ago and has been quoted in other studies and distributed around the mainstream news media, both print and TV news
