Happy indeed!!!
Not boas, Collar, but those things kids blow into at parties....I don't know the name, they uncoil and make a 'toot'. One of my cats, I learnt today, LOVES them. I found it in my desk when looking for curtain hooks.......
A party blower is a horn formed from a paper tube, often one that is flattened and rolled into a coil, and which unrolls when blown into, producing a horn-like noise. The item is not known consistently by any term in English, also being known by a number of local variations, neologisms, and individual terms, often containing variants and synonyms of blowing (puffing, blow-out etc.) and noise (whistle, squeak etc.)
...cornetini.....
Oh cookiecat, me too.
It's all a bit....borrowed time, but it has been for months now. We are going back on Friday for a check up, and it might be we make the decision next week even if she has rallied somewhat, and have her go at home when not so desperately ill but on a day she knows joy and maybe forbidden things like chocolate and grapes, if we have this opportunity. We'll see.
They say 'you always know' but, I just find this time I have never known less. . For many of her predissesors I would have said good bye a long time before, but if I offer this one a car ride, she still gets super excited, and she enjoys her food, even though it's so hard for her to eat, and she loves being with us....
I am very pro euthanasia ( for people too) when wanted, but I feel were she a person she would not ask for it now, the light in her eyes is strong. But as her 'human' I have to make decisions for her, and I think I might be able to make a decision that saves her pain and distress. This is a horrid circumstance,a cruel little illness she developed.
