only such short time...my neighbor had peanut for around 10 years ..amazing huh...that bird was such a sweetie..so tiny and filled with love...after she died...two hawks moved in to keep my neighbor occupied...they are mates...funny how things are..

I have two pairs of hawks that live behind my house. There is an 80 acre field and a small tank (resevoir) and a patch of trees. Oddly enough it has two nests in this small patch of trees. They get so noisey calling it gets the cat all excited <grin> but they don't have nothing on the crows <grin
