It does make a difference when I think about the million sexual partners porn actors have though. Then I'd rather see a condom every time.

And yes, they should include a scene where the condom is rolled down. It would eroticize the act, and maybe men will try once again to imitate pron movies and actually become eager to put a condom on.

Well I've seen a couple of pornos where they have shown condom application. The woman used her lips to do it

Thing is they were both Australian ones. The only production company here encourages safe sex practices.

The problem here is so many groups want to do different things or the same thign a different way, that nothing can get done besides more tanks. Which means schools are underfunded and staffed, kids don't get taught anything important, like condoms and diseases and condoms are viewed as being for sailors and losers. Well they were when I was in school, which is why I only tried using them twice, only once did it actually work and didn't feel as good to me.

Most of the above could be fixed by having porns using condoms prominently, they are all required to use them unless both sing big old waivers, but they hide them because people still think condoms are for losers.

Tell you the truth I bet most of the woman in porn would sound alot happier if they started using ribbed instead of see through thin things.

Well, personally, I had sex like a year or two before I watched porn (although, maybe thats more of a girl thing)...so, I would say if you're trying to solve teen pregnancy - make condoms available EVERYWHERE. hehe.
I had wanted/tried to get condoms made available in our nurse's office in highschool...but in a school that doesn't even have a GSA and still spends a good amount of time telling you how abstinence is "best"...well, you can guess how well that went over.

Yeah I'm pretty sure guys watch porn alot sooner. I actually had one guy trying things he saw in porn, let's just say teenage.

Which of course is the people who need to be shown that condoms can be fun, they are after all the one's who never have any condoms and always the one's who are trying to have sex with us women.

I have seen all kinds of porn and no it doesn't ruin the fantasy for me...but as in reality it is better without. I believe in safe sex is necessary just not the most fun. It is good to know that those in Adult films don't mind promoting safe sex. For many porn in their first guide to sex.

I wouldn't know. We only have about one tenth the population you have there so it could be the same rate for all I know.

Just a comment on something mentioned a few posts back - yes, you can catch STDs from oral sex, and you should always take necessary precautions. However, my understanding is that the risk of catching an STD from oral sex is significantly lower than that of catching one from anal or vaginal sex.

I don't watch porn, for lots of reasons, but I don't think I would like even the visual experience if condoms were not used. It would just make me see a huge HIV clinic or maternity ward hovering in the air above the screen.

Yeah well as far as the whole maturnity thing goes I've heard there has been at least one case of a woman getting preggers on set. But as also said on this thread. Condom use would make it look more realistic.

Also don't know if Buffy Down Under is available over there or not but it's one where they not only use them for most of the scenes but also show the application of the rubbers

as for teenage pregnancies though - i guess the influence of condoms used in porn movies would be small. from my impression there are a lot of other reasons to this, usually an environment in which sex is not "spoken about", also often socioeconomic factors, etc. - i am not sure condoms in pornos alone would change a lot...

Well thing for me is I'm still yet to do it without a rubber so I can't honestly say I have a personal prefernce.
