Yes, that's why I wasn't replying.
Cyclista, I adore your current profile pic!![]()
That's weird.
In my lil hamlet I can remember more people dying or getting injured in bicycle accidents than by guns and probably greater than 90 % of the population has one gun or more.
But we also weren't brought up in a mindset of fear. I got my first gun and fishing pole at the age of 6. Just instruments of bringing home dinner. I'd be safer walking along the way with them than riding a bike.
I am happy to live in a country that doesn't / hasn't brainwashed the population.
But each to their own.
Stunning!
That's a pretty incredible answer. What it tells is that where you live people drive carelessly, unaware they risk the life of others on the road. I won't use the words that come to my mind...
That's not the case here where people are respectful. Maybe they learned to protect the life of each other, instead of protecting their right to own a gun. Like if we were in 1880. Hello, we are in 2020!!
Brainwashed? Wow... « In 2017, the most recent year for which complete data is available, 39,773 people died from gun-related injuries in the U.S., according to the CDC»
These are numbers. Facts. I believe 2019 was worse. There were more mass-shooting in USA than days in 2019.
Ask yourself what is the purpose of a bicycle. And then, what's the purpose of a gun. After this, try to figure out if what you said is intelligent.
I don't want you to answer. In fact, you said quite enough.

Incredibly good response and answer.
Can't possibly say it better.
Even more reason to be a fan of yours

It’s hard to argue with numbers. Thanks for a well-reasoned response

Needless to say, our trails are pretty boring around here in winter. (Link is from Spring of 2019)
Bikes will be allowed here on the coming weekend after the skiers. Miss Cyclista might come and melt our beautiful snow.
