My dog hurting & not being able to do anything for her. And her not wanting to go for her regular walks even when she seems to be doing better.

I give her pills for the pain, but until we can get her to the vet to see if there are longer term solutions, she’ll still be in pain occasionally.

Sorry to hear that. We're at that point too. Just keep her comfortable as much as possible.

I agree, I've had my 2 puppers for 15 and 12 years. They aren't big, so it's not very old I suppose.
It's sad seeing the cataract's, the slower walking on most days.. Some days my 15 year old jumps and is more playful...
The boy (12) acts like he never got neutered...lol
I've had them both since they were puppies...
