Did you take a left at the fork in the road?

Hmmm... I can't honestly remember, just feels like i wound up here one way or another.

::nih:: :cool: oh well...

Been reading the stories on the main site for years, since an online 'partner' I had a few yeas ago linked to me a few stories on the site.

I checked out the forums a little bit in the past, but a week or so ago I was bored and was looking through the forums again. A post here caught my attention, so I started posting.

I was going to check livejournal from a public computer at Bowdoin College, and autocomplete threw up literotica after I'd only typed in the www.li -- Anyhow, I thought it sounded like a neat idea, so I let myself be directed there. The rest, as they say, is history.

I was a good little girl walking to Bible Study one morning and I took a wrong turn...

Okay, a friend I know from a book club tunred me onto the story section. I have no idea how I ended up in the Forums but however it happened I'm very glad for it.

I originally entered in the Authors Hangout and then wandered over to BDSM with some occasional forays onto the GB.

Found it in the link history on my brother's computer a while back.

Great Question

Seems like I start my IM's with this. I found Lit because of my husband. Before we were married I found the address on his computer. Asked him about it and he just shrugged. Finally I read some stories....and then left. Recently decided to check it out again, and really enjoy the stories, and some of the people I have met.

I used to read erotica at another site, was chatting up a girl from an adult dating service, and she recommended lit for stories.

I checked it out, read a few everyday. Never heard from her again.

Found my PYL, etc etc kept on reading and one day fluked the wrong button, say there were people who openly discussed BDSM.

Hook, line and sinker.

A friend gave me the link time ago cause he wanted I read a story he wrote here that he thought I could like . I loved it and started to read the stories partly cause they intrigued me partly because it was a fun way to improve my english ... lol ...

I explored the site and found the board .... I lurked for a long while before to join it and another long while before to find the courage to start posting , both for language issues and because I found my posts poor in contents and boring even to myself .

Then except some initial fast sortie on GB ( to rise posts number and finally get an avatar  ) I have always been hanging around BDSM talk and Cafè because I liked the people and mainly I found it suitable to the kind of person I felt , even unaware, I was .

Now I have become more daring in expressing myself, but I only post if I have to say something on a particular topic, cause I found great part of the answers to the questions I was wondering about in library or in old threads , besides books and other informative sites and talks.

Well my posts now are still grammatically incorrect and someway naive, mainly due to my lack of experience ... but know what? I dont give it a damn anymore :)

I am not shy at all and ..... as said Billy Wilder in one of his best movies " None is perfect ! " b. :) :rose:

For a long time I only went to Nifty for erotic stories, but they didn't update often enough at all for my tastes. lol I found a link to Lit at that site, and came over here, and of course almost immediately found the BDSM and Non-Con story sections. It took me awhile to get up to courage to venture onto the forums, and then I tried to hang out in the GLBT part, but I felt so much more comfortable over here, since this is the part of my life that I'm exploring most right now.

Like most people, I was searching for online stories. Found Lit. I read the stories for about a year before I even realized there was a message board. Once I found it, I lurked for a while and then joined.

I just split tea everywhere!

Laughing at the idea that your english would improve with reading Lit stories.

Just imagining your talking english interspersed with 'Baby, you like it, you know you do'
or 'On your knees bitch'

Thanks Babies, you will make me smile all day.

As for your not being shy....thats my and shy guys job around here ;)

A Lovely Suggestion, It Was

I will be forever indebted to a former owned one of mine. I had started the Michelle series of stories and had never shown them to anyone - except Michelle - when I had the idea of bringing a chapter or two to our training sessions.

When she was bound and blindfolded and kneeling in front of me, after having been whippled and used, and then doing what obedient slavegirls do, I would read aloud a few pages to her.

It turned out that she had contributed a few stories to Lit and was an avid reader. She gave me the encouragement to send some of what I had written in. Up until that point, I didn't think what I had written was all that hot.

And that is how I found this place.

So, thank you, Susan.

Well, i was logged in as 'invisable' on my yahoo messenger as well as the yahoo chat room that i chatted at nightly since early 2001. Normally i was logged into both and spent my evenings helping other chatters to correct their computer and chat issues, or worked on editing and building my web site.
i didn't feel like doing either that night.
i loaded google and settled in for a night of free erotic literature. i just used keyword phrases to find erotic topics that interest me. Stuff like, .... oh never mind .... That part of the story isn't important, anyway ... :p

The search took me to a story published here at Literotica. i returned often to read more.
Sometimes i browsed the forums. i was registered for a fair amount of time before i ever posted.

Eventually i found the chat side of Lit, and spent time chatting with others in a BDSM room there, but didn't care for the many PMs i received from wankers and wannabes ... so i stopped going over there.

Shortly there after, i'd joined collarme.com where i met my Master. i posted on their forums for a while ... found the people there to be too judgemental, too many who felt that *their* BDSM and their opinions ... were the ONLY way. Plus too many of the mods were pulling threads and deleting posts that they didn't agree with based NOT on the TOS at collarme, but rather, ... based on their own opinions and their own ideas of what the *right* BDSM should be. my last post there was to let them know that........ although i'd enjoyed my time there, and the people who posted there at the time ... and was greatful to the site for allowing me the opportunity to meet INSUIDEYOURMIND ........ i can't stand censorship , and had 'outgrown' the place.

i like the expereinces i've had while posting here .... much better, than i did while posting over there. As long as posting here continues to be enjoyable, i'll return to do so, ...again and again.... and again ...

i've always enjoyed writing ... even if mostly all i write these days is posts on a forum. One of these days ... i'm gonna committ to finishing a story i started writing about 2 years ago, and publish it here at Lit.

For the life of me, I don't remember. I must have been looking for free erotic stories, but it was a long damned time ago.

I created the account to post a few stories I'd written; I was only vaguely aware of existence of the forums until fairly recently, though the account goes back a couple or three years.

I started participating on BDSM boards here not long after a significant relationship ended--a formal D/s one--and I was feeling particularly freakish as a single closet kinkster among my generally coupled and universally vanilla friends. I just wanted to communicate with some people who actually saw relationships and life the way I did, and who didn't try to fix me up with every needy, clingy, insecure vanilla girl in their office. (Why is it that most of the women that are attracted to me are un-self-aware submissive types who like me because I seem stable, safe and non-threatening to them? They don't realize that I'm safe to them because they're terminally dull and unchallenging to me!)

Jay Davis! I feel like spanking you for talking about yourself that way! (I'm already in a hellva a bad mood tonight.)

I don't find you boring at all! I find you to be a smart deep thinking fellow who I like a lot.

Furry? One of us has misinterpretted that post (maybe it was me .. i dunno because NOW you have confuzzled the hell out of me .. :p .. heh.. )
i think Jay Davis was indicating the women who are normally interested in him as being dull, & boring. i don't think he was speaking of himself on that note. ;)

Thanks for letting me know I got it wrong SinnOcent! I just totally got it wrong.

My bad!

I'm in a rotten mood.

Jay Davis?

I apologize, please forgive my missreading and misunderstanding.

LOL! Sounds like fun if it didn't include yelling.

I just hope Jay Davis forgives me.

Anyway, I think yelling must be one of my triggers. It really makes me feel endangered and like a trapped animal, not in a good way.

Too bad he loves to yell.

In fact, when he was talking about "trying" to be a Dom to me he mentioned yelling and just that scared the crap outta me, also not in a good way.

I'm starting to realize I have serious issues about yelling.

*sigh*

I was using my Dad's computer and looking at the bookmarks. I found it there. I read stories, then lurked here, then joined here so I could see attached pictures, then eventually started posting.
The bonus to lurking for a long while is that you don't step on too many toes or blunder your way in. For the most part.

My Dad doesn't post here. Don't know about the GB. But I'm 95% sure he just likes the stories. I told him off the other day when he cleared the cache and there was an address I needed for another week in it - I didn't save it because I only needed it for a month. I told him, "We all know you look at porn, why bother clearing the cache and pissing us off?" He didn't know quite how to respond to that. He wasn't embarrassed though. It's my sister that's the prude, not me.

He still reads them, too - the board is pretty distinctive and I've seen it a few times on his laptop when we're watching TV.
