Yeah, I now have a scar down there, so if I allowed the hair to grow I'd have a pretty little bald spot. :p
 
I like to be shaved. I makes you feel kina slutty, plus it just feels better. ;-) He prefers it shaved, but he didn't get vote. My patch of fur my choice. :p
 
My friend got her partners named tattoed on her pubic area - she keeps it nice and trim so that every time he goes down on her....well, I guess he can remember his name!!!!

Come to think of it, maybe she should have had her own name tattoed there...

I personally like the hair. And I like picking the hair out of my teeth afterwards. I've never been bald, or even attended to my hair there ever. It's not very dense and I've never needed to.

When I was a baby dyke it was never the done thing to lose the hair. But now, dykes are doing it all over the place.

I like tidy. Doesnt have to be hairless but just kept in order you know no thighburns. I keep myself in the same order so its nothing i don't expect of myself.

Good on you Wickedanwayward... I prefer unshaven any day of the week...! It's the way nature intended... And I agree, I do enjoy picking the hair out of my teeth...
 
Since we're doing personal preferences here..... I like to start with some muff and then change it. And later, change it again. Or command it changed. And so on. :)

Putting in a heart shape is one of my faves.

I mean... it grows. So it's not an either/or thing. Long term fun. :)
 
I used to try to keep it bald, but the upper "triangle" portion gets razor burn CRAZY BAD and I do not want to wax. The pain+$$ cost is too much :p I'm present trying to go back to "tamed" All the lower portion shaved, and just a trimmed roughly-triangular shape on top (I don't get anal about. Long as nothing's stickin' out the edges of my underwear :p
 
My Husband enjoys bald, or the 'landing strip' thing (which I don't get at all). I don't have that much of a preference (all shapes aside, which I find silly), but I enjoy "recently shaved" when the hair is at its softest.

Being a straight female, my opinion may not matter a whole lot, but I feel that a nicely tamed "muff" is the most aesthetically pleasing. Shaved is fine, but entirely au naturale is a bit much unless she naturally doesn't have a crazy jungle of hair down there. I feel the same about men. If he prefers to shave, I don't mind. If he prefers to keep it natural, I just ask that it be somewhat under control.

Oh, no kidding! I'd heard that if you keep shaving regularly, your skin gets used to it and the irritation subsides. Not so! I've gone back and forth so many times between entirely bald and keeping the roughly-triangular shape you described, and every time I decide to try shaving it all off I regret it. The area just gets so irritated that I can only shave maybe once a week in order to avoid serious discomfort, and it's not worth it for one smooth day followed by 5-ish of itchy and slightly painful stubble. I've tried waxing at home, but it never really worked. At most I'd end up with 1 out of 5 hairs being removed, and my latest attempt actually resulted in my bikini area getting bruised. Never again will a waxing strip touch anything but my eyebrows. At this point, I'm sticking with the triangle. xD

I found that if I shave the upper portion only with the growth of the hair, I don't get near as bad razor burn (although still a tad bit)

however that doesn't actually achieve a full shave so it kind of defeats the purpose. So I've given up and am going to manicuring.

Don't tell the boy, but I'm going to try to heart-shape it for next week when he comes in ;) yaaayyyyy boy-time! :D

My husband has become an expert with Nads. So, with that and a CleanCut personal shaver, he can give me a trim so well defined it looks as if it was drawn onto my skin.

I prefer a strip, but if I have been dating a man long enough I give him his choice. And my dates love knowing that my husband spent so much time preparing their treat.
 
I'm going to go out on a limb here and be PC. Actually, I don't care that much about what her body is like. What I mean by that is her personality and how she takes care of herself is what I look for. Good hygiene, a neat and manicured look, something that tells me she cares what she looks like and tries to be appealing to her lover. A hint of perfume in places you wouldn't expect it is also a nice touch.

But when it comes down to the brass tax, as long as hers isn't bigger than mine, I'm still the guy.
 
I really don't understand why people make such a big deal out of it. I just find it highly unimportant.
