I did not vote :D

The option: I know there are stories but I never read them was not there...

Actually I read one (part of one) once. No offence to the writer but the style was so not mine.... I know I'm very picky... I never went back after that. Maybe I should.

Plus I found the forum (How to and How to café) much more interesting anyway.

Ed will be disappointed to think that you hadn't at least tried to read something of his! ;)

I feel like a tea totaller or toddler or something. I don't even drink tea much.

I go through phases with reading stories. I made a folder of authors I want to read - most of them are from seeing a link in their sig.line (as Tease has).

I'm also like Tease, I'll reread some - for a variety of reasons.

This is one of my favorites (she happens to be a friend - a busy new mom too):

I actually found the forum after starting as an author. I've always kind of kept my author/poster personas seperate, mainly because I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I started posting here. Also when I started posting there was some big stink about alts and a few posters, and I didn't want people to think I was using an alt for some reason. I've never really tried to hide it, but I almost never post here with author related question, so I just never brought it up.

If anyone's intersted, here's a link to my stuff. Not that I'm advertising or anything.

A long, long time ago, I came to Lit for the stories, but I rarely read them now, unless I'm directed to something or I notice that someone who posts here has written stories.

Maybe someday I'll write something for Lit. I have a few ideas floating around in my head. :)

It's the usual rags to riches story for me, looking around for stories that tweaked my interest, (you would be suprised at how hard it is to find a good filing cabinet, half a bucket of lard and a giant prickly pear story) and stumbled across the board. I had read many boards, finding the interaction to be fascinating, but this was the only one where I actually felt comfortable posting.

you know AW, i'm fairly certain that very few here would have been aware that i write at all if you hadn't made that comment. so i guess i should thank you for the new views. :D

Isn't it - when I read it I was still breaking out of my shyness about sex and senuality. I didn't leave a comment but PMed her with all kinds of blushing. It just touched so many lovely buttons for me. She is a doll on top of it all.

Leave comments and feedback. If it weren't for the reponses I've gotten, I would have quit writing a long time ago, and I don't just mean here.

BTW Cathleen, nice story. For some reason I'd never read that one before.
