Do you really need to preheat the oven?

I'm all for starting a thread on cooking class! I can follow a recipe but have never been good at winging it, somehow nothing ever comes out as it should.

I think that's an excellent idea. I love cooking. I'm actually finishing a degree in culinary arts. Cooking has only gotten more fun being exposed to different methods, ingredients and ideas.

Everyone in my family is picky except me, so I never get to try new things. We're having good old fattening, bad for you, fried chicken & corn on the cob for dinner tonight!
