When people say milf do they imply the difference between the way older women come across as mothers or do you really need a child to qualify? I think people are drawn to the "cute" older women and the way they dress and kindness they sort of present. I just find women who have had children to be sexually attractive. I havent been able to analyze it. I'm just saying that if you have had kids, and I find you sexually attractive, then the criteria of MILF is met.
There was some discussion of what a MILF is. As with everything, it's subjective. A MILF to me does not mean the same lady is a MILF to someone else.

To me a milf is a 30s to late 50s with a womanly body. Wide hips , maybe from childbearing, nice rounds breasts, maybe from nursing, a little little bit of a tummy, a sensible hair style. Definitely a one-piece at the beach.
Part of the attraction is comfort she has in herself, part of it is the relaxed attitude to her own sexuality and part of it is the body built for comfort, not speed.
There is nothing about the fact that she is a "mother". No Oedipus complex involved.
