30-40% of US healthcare money goes to insurance companies and administrative costs including billing multiple layers of insurance. Blanket eligibility would erase a lot of that and would do nothing to prevent Doctors opening private practices that take only cash.


Regulations of all sorts need to be cleaned up. It’s like how the IRS code of 1965 was the law of the land for over 30 years with endless modifications. The whole thing needed an update and a rewrite just to make it more manageable. The same thing needs to happen with all sorts of regulations.

Unfortunately big money interests are pushing the narrative, crying “commies” like Joe McCarthy did. Like you, they like the money more than any other consideration. Removing regulations allows all kinds of selfish profit taking.

While Trump was in office taxes were reduced so much the country went into further debt. Then Covid lockdowns and stimulus checks boosted your income and decreased your spending, boosting personal saving for most Americans.

Meanwhile wealthy people and companies used their reduced tax windfalls to buy housing and drive up the cost of real estate and raise the cost of living for everyone.

i actually received very little in the way of covid benefits. in my case i got lucky and scored a few better paying gigs and was able to retain it until inflation and insane utility bills began attacking me three years ago. i also don't disagree with all the money they threw at us those first few months. If they wanted us to stay home locked down we should be compensated but it should have been cut as soon as those first few months and everything should have reopened and we should have gone back to work free and clear as it turns out covid was one big fuck you lie.

Covid was a big fuck you death to over 1m Americans. At what point in time were you or anyone factually certain it would not be able to mutate and kill off a much larger number of people? That objectively happened only once the vaccines became available.

With taxes reduced on the upper end of the economy there was no way to tax it back out. It solidified as debt and purchasing power for those who received the Trump tax breaks - the wealthiest people in America.

Now we have a permanently inflated housing market, which raided the cost of living - raised the need for higher wages - raised consumer prices….
