Erotic Illustrators & Writers

Hehehe.

I just sent off a story to my editor. It has been haunting me for weeks, but I feel quite content with it now. ;)

I have a very short "painting" in my head that I want to post in here because I think it will be begging for an illustration.
Working title: the mountain climber.

I got the idea while on holiday, but it has nothing to do with Egypt.
That will generate a much larger story.
Perhaps a real novel.

Let me know what you think. Feel free to add, detract, turn around, whatever suits you.

The mountain climber

One of the nice things about going on holiday alone is that you have plenty of time to watch other people. This last holiday I spent a lot of time being amazed at the unexpected amount of people from a certain East-European country. I never thought to see so many of them in Egypt of all places.

Watching them was a never-ending source of entertainment, well, mostly. They were for a large part rude; never looking the waiter in the eye, not waiting their turn. They were extremely greedy; piling their plates to overflowing and then leaving half of it uneaten. But there were nice pictures too.

The big family with at least three generations, having a great time. The three women, looking like friends who left their husbands at home for a short all-girl outing. A couple who could have been a father with his daughter, or an old lecher with a young wife. And my favourite, the odd couple.

I think they must have been in their fifties and they were eye-catching. She was twice his size in every direction, including her temperament. Taller, bigger and definitely the boss, she commandeered him all through their meals. And that's what got me thinking.

Imagine those two in the bedroom. She is standing in front of the big double bed and commands him to undress her. His tiny hands fumble with the buttons on the front of her flowery dress, stroking the abundance of flesh along the way.

He needs to stand on tiptoe to push it down her shoulders, burying his face in her cleavage. He'd like to spend some time there, nuzzling her and pushing the soft mountains up to his ears, but she won't have any of that. With a sigh he unclasps her bra, catching the huge cups as they snap away with the weight of her breasts coming down.

He knows she doesn't like it, but he has to taste them, lifting one with two hands he brings the nipple to his mouth, licking and sucking on it and switching to the other one after a few moments. He hears her sigh in impatience and before she can command him he goes back to the task of undressing her.

Her panties are stretched tight, she has gained even more weight and the waistband leaves a red mark in her flesh when he pulls it down. He needs to walk around her to lower her panties at the back and it's quite an effort to divest her of her last piece of clothing. But he manages.

His reward is this huge mountain of flesh, quivering on the bed, waiting for him to explore all of it. The wiry man crawls on the bed, on top of the massive thighs and has to push the folds of her belly back to find the sparse dark curls covering her mound. There's no way he could squeeze himself between those thighs; there simply is no room. All he can do is dive down from the top, cushioned by the waves of her belly.

As he starts licking her between her legs, he hopes she will fondle his cock. He likes that better than having to climb all over her to get to her mouth. That makes him feel like a mountain climber, but he loves her. And he feels proud when the mass of flesh starts to quiver and quake. He's brought her off again.

I'm really curious to see what kind of image this evokes, if any. I have something in my mind's eye and would like to see if my words convey it accurately enough to let someone else draw the picture.

:D

Interesting topic. I just got through reading "Zaftig, Well Rounded Erotica' edited by Hanne Blank. It's a fabulous collection of erotic stories which generally feature curvier men and women. I'd highly recommend it, the writing is wonderful and the imagery evocative and powerful.

From the intro..."Zaftig, in Yiddish, means juicy. It aslo means voluptuous, plump, and round in a deliciously sensuous sort of way. Used to refer to people's bodies, it suggest opulence and abundance, a sort of unconventional beauty built on heft and curves and softness."

Seems to me there is a lot of interest to describe both in words and in art in a curvy body, somewhat like describing an interesting terrain as opposed to a flat plain...:)

Hmm, I never gave it a thought that it could be insulting or something.

I never was and never will be a slender willow myself, and I am an expert on dieting. I stopped that about 15 years ago and since then I have been slowly learning to appreciate my natural dimensions.
I only lost weight recently because it was better for my health, but I felt quite proud that I could set my goals to voluptuous instead of slender.

I have had the image of mountain climbing before, but that was in relation to myself as I am rather tall as well and I am quite good at making fun of me.

I cannot express this clearly in English but to me there are different kinds of jokes. Making fun of people can be mild and acceptable. Being cruel is not necessary for a good laugh. Right?

Black Tulip- I read your story, I was not offended. As you can see from my AV, I am 'voluptuous' myself. I think it had something to do with how worshipful the man was to the woman; it seemed he'd be the same whether or not she was obese. I'm not sure the story was poking fun at her; I think the story addresses something realistically -her immense weight and her lovers relationship with it. I don't know if everyone will see it this way, mostly because I think us Americans are over-sensitive to areas of "political correctness," though being overweight does seem to be the last acceptable form of discrimination, not to mention ridicule.

I think had you written the story from a different perspective, i.e. the man being disgusted with her body, it would change the entire tone to one I would personally find disturbing. As it is, I like the concept of "mountain climbing." Perhaps you could also include something from her point of view? Maybe something about how thin he is and how she feels about that?

McKenna,

Thank you. I never intended it to become a real full fledged story. This is no more than a sketch.

It was important to mention he loves her, that was the feeling I got from watching them, by the way.

:)

Yes!!!!

I like your drawing Rhino. It is more or less what I had in mind. Well, you made the guy even smaller than I had him.

I no doubt inserted something of my own with regard to her body. That will not always be loving, I'm still learning.

It is weird though, is this still on topic?, to consider what turns us on. There are so many different little things that make us say yes, or no. And weight is just one of them. But somehow it's a dodgy topic, why?

Oh my!

Thank you for guiding me to this thread-rhinoguy. I have just spent the last little while reading through all the posts and admiring all the drawings. Wow!
You're really spoiling us. :)
Right now my creative outlet is erotic writing.. I intend to look into erotic photography when I can afford a digital camera (someday), and drawing has come closer to being a reality, rather than just a thought.. I have a book on how to draw that is in my pile of current reads-or soon to be read books. I can do some digital stuff, but not draw by hand.. and I would love to be able to do that. Have to start to learn though, right?
So I will make this a favorite thread to keep track of, and hope that maybe someday I too will have art work to post here.. though I may write stories to accompany illustrations, or if it's allowed, request or invite illustrations.
We'll see. :)

I have vague thoughts of putting together a book of short erotic stories for cafepress - there is an audience for it and there aren't many there yet.. however, becoming properly published, as such, would be much more wonderful. Anyway, I was going to say.. if I ever do go with that, it would be lovely to have you illustrate the cover, perhaps. ;)

Particularly loved the drawings of the man and woman with the desk, the chair, etc.. oh boy.

Rhino, I'd like to request a couple of drawings, if I may. I'm researching a bit into dominant/submissive relationships. What I'd like to see is a woman on her knees in the corner, facing the wall. She is receiving her "punishment" for misbehavior.

The other I'd like to see has little to do with D/s and more to do with my own person kink. Can you draw a woman receiving a spanking? I don't know if it helps to give you a lot of detail on what I'm looking for, but I'd like it to be a period piece, with her in bloomers (around her knees) and a long skirt, he in attire to match the time period. Facial features, etc. are all up to.

Is this doable?

I agree with McKenna... what came through to me in the scenario was how much her man loved her and loved pleasing her. I did not see that her weight was a negative in this setting. I thought mountain climbing was a clever way to describe this without being ridiculing. Very nicely written too, Black Tulip. And rhino, I like the interpretation you did in your drawing.

Rhino,

You must have been looking real good at McKenna's AV where she has her jeans down her hips?

As far as I can see, it's her in the corner all right.

Very nice.

By the way, my latest story has some people concerned about you. LOL
Funny thing is, it never entered my mind to connect the story with you or me. *shrugs*
