Erotic Illustrators & Writers

Hah! I caught you!
I thought you liked me "poem".
*pouting*

Thanks, rhinoguy for reverting to the AV that inspired me to remember the Piers Anthony story and to write 'Christmas Fairy Ch.01.'

Og

Thanks for the bump, man. You know I have a special bias for the AV you're using right now. You're a very inspiring artist. I've thought of doing some more of the same kind of stories, I just have to pay a little more attention to your drawings and see where we can go.

It's neat to see all the contributions in your thread. I'm going backwards, perusing the entries. Of course, going backwards is not an unusual direction for me.

Keep up the good work, all of you talented drawers of the real human condition (panting - do we get that phrase for the action of men seeing naked women, taking off their pants, then realizing they're in public and quickly putting the pants back on, looking at the guy next to them, saying, "I just had to make an adjustment", and then turning red because they realize that the smile the guy has on his face is far too easy to read: "yeah, sure, I know exactly what you mean, if I didn't wear boxers I'd have to make an adjustment too. But I probably wouldn't let my pants fall all the way to the ground to do it."

See what you guys' drawings do to me?

Thank you, rhino.

That is my kind of Christmas Fairy. Now if she could make things grow...

"That's the stoking cycle we love to see! Rhino stoked some cool lip-drawings, which you ought to see if you haven't. impressive stoked both of us into making an illo, Rhino has been inspired to do a series of eagle drawings because of a visitor with a cool legend, and so on. It's lovely when people help with inspiration and ideas. "

Hope this isn't too confusing but I lifted Cantdog's comment from Rhino's other thread on mass mailing because I wanted to say thanks here in this thread. Mail notifications are fine with me BTW, really fine. :)

Basically I'm a lazy person so the provocation and support of the good folk who visit this thread has been a great help in getting me back to some art. So thanks to you all. The benefit of a little community who spur eachother on to be creative reaches beyond Lit. Just like writers need readers, I guess artists need viewers. I was very touched to get this email feedback on those lips drawings from someone who asked if they could download the images.'

"Thank you so much for the jpegs. They are indeed of a much better quality than those on your blog. While I was impressed by the images on Wilful Damage, they in no way did justice to the exquisite detail of these drawings. Wow! The third one in particular is just astonishing-the crosshatching, the sinuous curves, the way you've overlain the pen or pencil just perfectly upon the lipstick, using the variations in saturation as highlights, all this is beautifully done. This drawing especially reminds me a bit of an orchid. It possesses that same strange quality I always find in these flowers, suggesting something both fruit-like and entomological. An alien quality that invariably provokes wonder.'

I'm equally delighted with a quick "I like your stuff."

Couldn't have done them without the input of some creative lippy types around here. Thank you.

Rhino that fairy has a beautiful sense of adoring workship about it, you really captured "something" there.

Cantdog love the poster for Imp, even I had a little moment when I got to sketching out the concept.

Part of me wishes that we had image/album like a Fotopages kind of thing devoted to the work on this thread with a link back to here. Something to thing about?

Be well,
Loraine

But I bet your sketches didn't have toucans. ;)

I visited your wilfuldamage thing. I do love those. I'm afraid in my enthusiasm I blurted some dumb ideas in an e-mail.

You'd need the BFG and a lot of Max Factor, of course.

You're right, not a Toucan in sight although I had in mind those lovely, exotic cruise/travel posters in the style of Rene Gruau.

Thanks for dropping by the blog and I love the ideas! For some reason "The Max Factor" is giving me ideas for a story or a poem...that'd be a nice creative loop wouldn't it or a loopy creative...

The lyrics and pic struck a chord with me, for some reason they made me cry, thankfully only a little, but there's a great tender peacefulness that really appeals to me.:)

Cantdog,

That's beautiful.

On mailings: I get a notification from the Lit board whenever there's a new posting to this thread. I wouldn't want to lose contact with this one.

:D

Beautiful picture, equally beautiful words, humming gently with tenderness and love.

My kind of writing.

Thanks, Mat. That's Jessica Star Benedict. It's the lyrics to a guitar-based song. It reads like two verses with chorus for that reason. The third verse is interstitial and involved with a rhapsodic and evocative bridge with lovely interplay between the guitar and the keyboard.

Jess is a really driven and incredible musician. Her lyrics have only gotten better, too, but she's always been a better musician than a lyricist.

"Tonight" belongs to an era in the past. But I've always liked it. The drawing is my own.

gave it a quick shot.
not sure why one would want a drawing over a photo?
Well I thought you could make it look more pouty;)
That sure was quick, I thought you had a deadline ~THANKS  ~

I don't know of her, or her work. I will treat myself to some time surfing about her later. Thank you.

You'll have very good luck if you find her. She has somewhat of a regional fame, only. I just know her personally. Her band practiced in my cellar for a time, and she lived in my guest room a few months when things were a little tight for her.

She's so good, it makes me believe in talent, almost. But I know how constantly she works at her craft.

rhino, cantdog, et al...

I tend to lurk more than I post, but I must say y'all do amazing work. I find myself coming back to this thread more and more and I enjoy it immensely.

Not a particular fan of fairies/fantasy for the most part, but that's a matter of my taste rather than your abilities. There were several involving dragons or somesuch that did intrigue me.

and herecomestherain, I love the lipprint drawings.

Keep up the great work.
