Haven't drawn a thing for weeks but I've loved dipping in here and seeing what you guys have been up to. I really like the figure work rhino and I like peeking into your basement too.

It's a funny thing about framing your work, it seems to give it a legitimacy that goes beyond "oh it's just a sketch". When we renovated our house years back my sweetheart was determined that the only stuff we'd hang on the walls was my work and in a way it forced me to take painting a little more seriously. Lucky I do still life too or the kitchen would be full of nudes...which would make for a lot of burnt toast.

I had this cute thing happen here last time I painted a nude, I have a space right at the front of our house, it's virtually on the street and we live on a corner.

I had to paint near the window for the best light and was charmed by visitors, often my neighbours and across the road neighbours who'd come by and take a peek, blush and smile and carry on.

I had a lot of fun painting that one. Strangely "she" came out looking a lot like one of my across the road and around the corner neighbours! Fuelling all sorts of speculation! "She" hangs above our bed.

I'm working up to get started on a couple of nudes for my sweetie's den/space, the neighbours are eagerly awaiting the starting date...

bondage, maybe some light SM...but even if it MIGHT be read as non-consent...in MY mind it IS consentual.

and in THIS case it WAS meant to be a bit funny.

Yep, took a while to get that down, but I can reproduce the technique with little variations.

I did this with a 2H pencil in my sketch pad:
