BTW...on a more serious note, If the numbers aren't too great, I would be happy to take on some of the cooking. I've been co-running a Bed & Breakfast for the past couple of years, and reckon I could rustle up some decent food.

(Got to feed the inner person, you know).

Thank you, the cooking won't be much of a problem but it would be fun to let different people cook. We might round up the ones that want to cook and each can fix one meal, might be fun to see what people come up with

Considering the replies so far I think we'll end up between 5 and 10people, even if a few more might decide to join. I'll check with the owners about min group size.

LOL, well I'm living in The Netherlands on an Aussie passport and NL residency card. So far have been to the US, through a few European countries including Eastern Europe...the only place I ever had any hint of problems or should I say overly suspicious responses passing through customs was the US and they seemed to think my first name which is very Australian was strange and worthy of comment and further questioning as to just exactly why we were visiting the US. Go figure.

...This is why I'm sitting tight until I can apply for citizenship... travelling on an Aussie passport is so much easier that an SA passport... most em/immigration depts. classify SA as a third world country... sheesh... it took me three months to get a visa for New Zealand last year... but I don't have long to go, so I guess I need to be patient...
Yes - I have heard that the security at US customs is quite something to behold.

I believe it. I want to take a trip to Canada soon and I now have to get a passport. We didn't have to before and we don't have to in order to get into Canada but get back in our own f%*$ing country.

I mention it because the one and only we have attended was based on the same criteria (BDSM only) and also was conscious of people's need in some circumstances not to be exposed, and I think that was why it was so much fun as well as interesting because it was people of similar mindset/interests more so than just general interest in Lit, and went a long way toward making those who participated feel secure...and even this long after, to my knowledge no-ones identity, pictures, personal information etc., has gone beyond the group involved.

I also want to mention that photography is generally not allowed in the mansion. You'll need permision to do so from the owners and everyone that will be in the pictures.

Location and exact times were also kept within the group.

The only problem I have with new people no-one knows is simply that, no-one knows them or if they are into BDSM or are perhaps just people who think we are all ready to fuck anything so they have a good opportunity or getting sex or the feeling which comes up for me, see us like monkeys in the zoo...a curiosity to check out what we are really like. That for me raises trust issues which if we don't have, make any ground rules pointless. If we have some knowledge of people through regular posting (preferrably before this was mentioned), it gives some grounds for trust based on how we have already seen them conduct themselves on the forum and their personal interest in this area of kink as opposed to wanting to see if we have 3 heads.

Slightly off topic... I think it could be really cool if neon could skip across the pond to join us.
