This is how how the elitist (and as legend goes, he came from royalty) Robin Hood managed in part to be so evasive while being so open. The young man, a very smart man, was proud of what he did; he sees himself as noble and that is how his supporters will view him, a martyr to the injustices of free market Capitalism, which to them is not Liberty, but pejorative, an oppression.

This is what will finally thrust our inherent political racialism aside. Envy.

In the earliest legends, Robin Hood did not give to the poor -- he was simply a robber. Nevertheless he was a folk hero, in the same way as Jesse James and John Dillinger were folk heroes.

Robin Hood was probably fictional, and definitely not analogous to anything we're seeing from Trump.

Politics in America is the art of the coin flip. When the value of the political currency becomes debased, then the voters stop calling for heads. The coin has flipped and has landed in Caesar's court and our choice now becomes stark: Empire or Brutus.

At my age, I prefer the calculating comfort and peace of a true Constitutional Republic under a strong leader with a vision. Eventually, the reformers will be in need of reform and the coin will be tossed again, as long as it's the same coin, we'll all be okay.

Let the new choices fall. Trust but verify. We can be better than we have been. Endeavor to persevere. United we stand, divided, we're just like the rest of those losers.

I WANT to like your post but... lets face it. There are VERY VALID REASONS why Trump and his policies are so divisive! And no, it's not (As some will assume) because half of the country are "Marxists" (Sic.) But, because his policies WILL be impactful on this country in a very negative way- whether you are affected negatively or not and whether you accept it or not.

I denounce hatred, and absolutely support free speech. Yet let's be clear- Trump believes those who criticize him ought to be thrown in prison. He thinks the press and media who do not kiss his ass ought to be censored and journalists imprisoned. Is that free speech? No. Of course he will defend hate speech all day long as "Free Speech."

"Teachers will be free to teach." That's exactly the problem- No, they will NOT. They will only be "Free" to teach the party line. Teaching acceptance and tolerance of GLBT or other races, or that racism is inherantly wrong- will no longer be allowed. ("Woke indoctrination.")

So, this Dhillion guy is for protecting our freedoms, so he says. Will women have their freedoms restored that the Supreme Court took away? Or will their freedoms be further restricted. What about other sexual freedoms? Will these be protected? Somehow I think not. Like many active political organizations with the words "Freedom" and "Liberty" in their name, I suspect Dhillion will be more concerned with stripping away freedom and liberty than protecting it.
