Exquisite Corpse V.2

nouns:
verbs:
adjectives:
adverbs:
exclamations:

ummm, beyond my comprehension, I failed school, and this hurts my brain
I know how to get in a car turn it on and drive, but how the engine works??? beyond me :(

I'll go through everyone's answers slowly (adverb?) and see if I can decipher it

Each participant posts, in this thread, five each of nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs and three exclamations [...] For each line of your poem, you choose a noun from one person, a verb from another, an adjective from another and so on.
Then it seems that for full lines you need at least six different authors.

English Is So Fucking Versatile

It's a noun as in what a good she is
as well as a verb as in what lovers do.
And there's no fucking way if an adjective
it can't be an adverb too,
and don't you fucking deny it!*

*exclamation point

(I think this might be cheating, but I couldn't fucking resist.)

(Amused is definitely running this party :D)

I'm in like Flynn.
(don't know who Flynn is or how I'm like her/him, but it is what it is...)

nouns: garden, puppy, whore, dust, stiletto
verbs: to kneel, to hear, to jump, to ask, to deny
adjectives: cold, inadequate, triumphant, voracious, sweet
adverbs: nicely, anxiously, humorously, nearly, noisily
exclamations: Cripes! Snap! Shit!

wasn't that Errol Flynn and his sexploits lol? rather apt considering!

saving my spot :)

back later.

i'm back but still nothin'. why am i finding this such a struggle? i can do jigsaws....

ok, kinda sorta, though my brain hurts and it's not something i enjoyed :(

voracious dust candidly fondled
his face, prepared hasty, inexplicable
demands like a finger-fuck, impatient,
defiantly dirty, a shipwreck rocking his
now, a whore kneeling , dour and noisily
cider, scratching and always inadequate.

This poem is getting long :(
now correct me if I'm wrong...Do we
Write one line from each poets list... Or
write as many lines as there are poets from ALL the nouns, verbs...

get them altogether - you have 6 poets' list to choose from as there are 7 of us...

so, 6 lines. in each line, you get to choose one noun, verb, adjective, adverb and exclamation if you want that many - you might opt for a noun, adverb and adjective.

it's bugging me, since i want silence to think about this and can't get it right now.

So, one more time, our (6) line poem will be a separate entity from the others, right? thought so. :D

Yes! Each poem is unique because each of us will mix our choices from the poets' list in our own ways. The only requirement is to use something from each participant in each line.

ooooh, so a 6 line poem with at least 6 words in each line? I guess I did mine wrong.. but meh. I'll try again later

Fuck! It's fucking funny, you fucker.

When I saw the F word listed 3 times for a noun, verb, and exclamation, respectively, it reminded me of I kid I knew as a teenager who managed to say "fuckin' A" in just about every grammatical possibility you could think of, as in:

"The fuckin' A Yankees fuckin' A lost again last fuckin' A night."

Did you ever hear that phrase growing up in Trenton?

I did though more as an exclamation than a modifier.

The expression I always think of as really Jersey is "g'head" for "go ahead." I've never heard it outside the metro NYC/NJ area. My friends in the midwest always used to giggle when I'd (unintentionally) say it.

Shipwreck of Whores

Think I've missed it. :(

Are you going to the cider dance?
Fucking A, I'll be there where
labia cry for steamy thunderheads
to spit ice cream lower, Merde',
to fondle portly cantolopes
sweaty, barely pompadored, always

I do like that :) I tripped up a bit on the last two lines, but reading it over again a few times enjoyed it more!

I think I cheated in the first line, used two nouns though its possible I've subverted a noun as a modifier? adjective?
