For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Russians Fear What is Coming in April

Belgorod - the Governer is telling residents ts to evacuate if they can.....part of Russia's growing tale of woe as Ukraine destroys their economy....

Canada kicks off a $20 million Ukraine initiative to provide specialized battle gear for Ukrainian women in uniform

Given the Ukrainian Army is using a LOT of women in combat positions and units, this is a BIG contribution.

Russians Admit Catastrophic Situation on Frontline

Russian command panicking. More than likely though, this is simply a continuaton of Manstein....I mean Syrski's... aggressive defense.....lots of localzed counter attacks going in, some of them driving kms deep. Russian Z-bloggers are saying substantial territorial gains for Ukraine.

Russian Commanders Are Taking Out Their Own Men

There are reports about Russian commanders killing their own troops if they're unable to pay the bribe to stay off the front. While this isn't new, we should expect to see more stories like this as Russia is forced to stretch to meet recruiting goals.

Now imagine how much better things would be for Ukraine (and how much worse for Russia) if the U.S. under a patriotic non-traitorous administration (Democratic administration) had been incrementally INCREASING DIRECT SUPPORT to Ukraine for the past TWO PLUS YEARS instead of the DECREASE IN DIRECT SUPPORT orchestrated by DonOld & the MAGAt republicans.

😳 😑 🤬

The denial of Patriot Missiles is SHAMEFUL.

WE. TOLD. THEM. SO.

NEW RUSSIAN MOBILISATION WITH EMPTY BUDGETS

Putin now needs general conscription. Last time he tried this a million Russian fled the country due to the brain drain.

Kaja Kallas Turns Russia’s Own Negotiation Tactics Against Them

Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has done something rare in European diplomacy: she stopped playing defense and started playing Russia’s own game. Instead of conceding first or signaling flexibility, Europe mirrored Moscow’s maximalist demands — and the effect was immediate.

What I've been saying for a while. Trump has less and less leverage over Ukraine, and is increasingly irrelevant though his own actions and inactions.

The U.S. gets cut out of intelligence talks and suddenly Ukraine is hitting Russia harder than ever.

Maybe the problem wasn’t Ukraine.
Maybe the problem was the leak.

Remember: Russia made its greatest gains when DonOld Trump undermined U.S. aid / assistance to Ukraine and Elon Musk temporarily shut off Starlink for Ukraine.

How many Ukrainian lives were lost due to Trump & Musk committing acts of treason??!

Russian Forces Getting Wiped Out As Ukraine Counterattacks

From a few days ago but interesting all the same

Russian forces are under mounting pressure as Ukraine exploits a critical vulnerability: the loss of both Starlink and Telegram access across key Russian units.

At the front, Russian military bloggers are openly describing chaos. Communications are failing. Units are isolated. Casualties are surging. One prominent Russian blogger, Romanov, even aired testimony from a soldier alleging that commanders are killing members of their own units over unpaid bribes. Whether fully verified or not, the very fact such accusations are circulating publicly reveals deep fractures inside Russia’s war machine.
Meanwhile, Moscow appears increasingly desperate to conceal the true cost of the war. Cemeteries across Russia are reportedly blurred on publicly available Yandex satellite maps, obscuring expanding burial grounds as officials continue refusing to publish full casualty figures.

Inside Russia, the war is no longer distant. Bryansk has been plunged into darkness following Ukrainian strikes on the electricity grid. Belgorod residents are being told they may not have hot water until April. The war is reaching the Russian home front.

At the same time, Russia’s economy continues to erode:
• Aurus, the Kremlin’s luxury car brand, is reportedly nearing collapse.
• Road construction equipment sales are down 44% in just two years.
• Major metals producers are seeking emergency state bailouts.
• Samolet, Russia’s largest property developer, faces bankruptcy — leaving buyers stuck with poorly constructed apartments, some now documenting the failures in viral videos.

Social pressure is rising as well. Police have begun raiding drag venues amid an intensified domestic crackdown, even as the state tries to project strength abroad.

Poland signals it is prepared to host nuclear weapons. Marco Rubio travels to Hungary amid tensions over Viktor Orbán’s positioning within NATO. North Korea’s Kim Jong Un stages propaganda ceremonies awarding apartments to soldiers who fought in Ukraine.

Russian Defenses Break As Ukraine Advances In The South

Russia’s information wall is cracking. For the first time, some of Russia’s most prominent military bloggers are openly admitting that Ukrainian forces are advancing and that Russian positions are being pushed back. The narrative of total control is slipping. At the front, Russian soldiers complain they cannot access basic necessities. Supplies are strained. Communications are disrupted. Morale is under pressure.

Inside Russia, unrest is spreading.
  • Putin has pushed through legislation allowing for a near-total shutdown of the internet, with massive fines for linking to foreign websites. Digital isolation is becoming policy. The Kremlin is tightening control as battlefield realities become harder to hide.
  • Belgorod has reportedly lost its entire sewer system after Ukrainian strikes. City bus drivers are protesting unpaid salaries. More Russian companies are declaring bankruptcy. Oil drilling output has collapsed by 16 percent. Street interviews reveal growing anxiety about the economy and falling living standards.
  • Meanwhile, the Kremlin attempts to project strength abroad — maneuvering to support Iran’s regime amid rising tensions with the United States — while also threatening foreign artists for “insulting” Putin.
  • Even as domestic pressure builds, Russian ships continue scouting transatlantic communications cables.
Battlefield setbacks. Economic strain. Digital lockdown. Rising unrest.

Russia's Arctic Route Is GONE as Icebreakers Withdraw to Baltic Sea

Putin's 21st-century dream has just turned into a frozen nightmare. Without firing a single shot, the West has trapped the Russian Navy and its shadow fleet in the Baltic Sea. With 23 giant tankers stuck in the ice, the Gulf of Finland has become a massive parking lot, causing an unprecedented logistics chokehold on Kaliningrad.

As St. Petersburg's ports shut down, Russia was forced to pull its nuclear icebreakers (Sibir and Ural) from the Arctic to save its Baltic supply lines. But this desperate move triggered a domino effect! The $15 Trillion Arctic dominance is dead. The Oenega shipyard is bankrupt, and the Icebreaker 7 project is canceled. Norway has seized the European gas market, and NATO's F-35s now surround the Russian northern fortress from Alaska to Greenland. But the biggest betrayal came from Putin's "unlimited friend" China, using a brilliant geo-economic trap to turn Russia into its raw material colony. Watch how the war changed forever, not in the mud of Ukraine, but in the ice of the Arctic Ocean.

The Starlink Shutdown - Russian Military Communications, Corruption & Satellites in Ukraine

On the modern battlefield, Comms are king and in Ukraine the demand for effective communication tools has been intense with drone warfare and a drive for faster and more responsive kill chains/webs even in the face of intense Electronic Warfare.

There are lots of things that make a good communication tool under those circumstances. One of them is arguably that your opponent not have access to a massive 'off' switch for them.

So today, let's talk military communications in Ukraine and the impact of the sudden shutdown of Starlink terminals in Russian use.
