I think I get what you are asking... culture has a lot to do with what you have access to when you get your first lesbian crush/arrousal/initiation. In my culture (not originally from the USA), homosexuality is taboo...not acknowledged, talked about... sometimes dangerous. My first arousal was for a caramel skinned friend and I initiated.
