Just another quicky. Got a hair of morbidity up my butt the other night and had some photoshop fun with one of my images.

The obvious title: "...Only Skin Deep"

Another quicky and a little self-promotion. This is a teaser from a book that I've had in production for a little more than a year now. Hopefully I'll have it at least self-published some time in '09.

The title: "One Woman ~ One Year"

One of my favorite projects over the last year has been following an entire pregnancy. I put out the word for a woman who had just found out that she was pregnant, and then photographed her every two weeks until just before she gave birth. We timed it perfectly as she gave birth just 5 days after our last scheduled shoot for that part of the project.

I am still editing and arranging those photos, but we got together just after their daughter was born and I did some shots with the new girl and her papa. With his tattoos I just couldn't resist adding to the contrast of the sinner and the innocent. You'll see what I mean.

Ok that is too cool. Even without the wings, the small child in the arms is so striking.

Thank you kindly. The photo without the wings is a very pleasant photo as well. Like I said though, I just couldn't resist that contrast between innocence and the lack thereof. Just too much fun waiting to be had with that pic.

LOL! I'm sure she'd be flattered. You'd have to contact her through MySpace to get those permissions though.

That's awesome that the challenges are still going down. I thought they had dropped off. I still lurk once in a while, but it's been some time.

I'd love to post more photos, but the powers that be have some pretty restrictive photo posting guidelines, and I'm not uploading a ton of stuff to photobucket.
