Various Types, Various Uses

Interesting question you've posed. I have a number of different types of gags--ball, bit, O, penis. You are right to presume, at least in my case, that different moods and purposes evoke different gags. Bit gags do allow some articulation though mumbled. I find both they and ball gags prompt the most drooling. Most women with whom I've played find each humbling and strongly reinforcing of their submissiveness. Primarily it seems one of the more overt things, besides being bound provocatively, that one can do to make them feel totally helpless and available for use. That's always seemed quite a turn-on both for them and for me! Hope that's responsive to your interest.

I actually wasn't gagged because of my volume, but rather because when I get a little too excited and just slightly daised I tend to bite. I've finally learned to control the giggles when I'm being sessioned by this particular friend (he see's them as an insult and in result he works me harder because if I giggle then he must not be doing his job well), but the biting is taking a bit more work. I think it's because I'm just slightly spacey at that point, so it's a bit harder to focas on not doing something, especially when I know that he really likes it.

I think you're right about feeling more helpless. It's harder to feel like you have some sort of control of the situation if you're unable to call for help *giggles*. For me tho I think it's more the trust factor that turns me on. If I'm gagged, I can't use my safe words (not that I ever have had to use them actually, my friends read my body pretty well) and so he has to really read my body and look for cues as to if he needs to focas on a different area, or slow down, or break up the pain with a little pleasure. I have to totally trust that he will read and respond to these cues and he has to trust that I will give them. That's what turns me on, that need to trust completely the one who holds the whip.
