I like stockings on a lady.
My wife likes "shock and awe", and a few times she has worn fishnet and seamed stockings while out in public while on a date. That was fun.
A few other times she has worn just regular stockings, but in a minidress with a hemline so short, seated or standing: EVERYONE knew she was wearing stockings because you can see the tops of them. That was a very short hemline!

For me, I've always enjoyed stockings over anything else. Second, I think I would choose Knee Highs. Everyone has there own preference though.

Although, I do agree that a lot of guys prefer white. I'd wear them out more often, but it's sometimes difficult to find an outfit that they look good with...and they would have to be really sheer, I think.
