Happiness is...

Having a bunch of kids attack you (almost knocking you to the ground) because you were out sick for a week and they missed you like crazy. I miss that... :(

Cruising around Lake Wallenpaupack on a boat the wind in my hair with my man by my side as the suns going down.

Warm cookies from the oven.

Awww...

My husband says his favorite part of the day is coming home because the instant the kids hear the garage door going up, they fling open the door and tear out of the house screaming, "Daddy, Daddy!"

Spending the day at the fair with your family even though you got a sunburn, ate too much, and walked a million miles.

Going to an informal wine tasting event with my beloved and watching him as he discovers something new. (you have to understand...he usually likes foo-foo drinks, you know the sickening sweet ones that come with an umbrella--those just shy of being a Shirley Temple.)

Being home... which I am not...Have to wait one and a half years to be home again...to be happy again...

HI...

* The military channel --- mmm just love smart people. Especially those that don't mind calls at any hour and the way they explain things.

* Friends that get why phones can be busy.

Being a Peanuts Snoopy fan....

Happiness is a warm puppy...seeing that we had to put down the family dog this week I know just how meaningful that feeling is...

If you have a furry friend in your life...give them a pet and a hug and thank them for all the happiness they bring you.:rose:

Jagged, I'm sorry for the loss of your furry friend. I hope your memories will soon bring a smile to you and your family. :rose:

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

That must've been some pretty good "explaining". ;)

Seeing posts from the two lovely ladies before me. I miss you guys!

*group hug!*

Spending an entire fabulous weekend with my family (and several others), with everything supplied and organised for free, for no other reason than to do something nice.

Coming home and stumbling over more acts of random niceness.
