Here's a question

True. There is nothing sexy about a flacid penis.
maybe not sexy but it's certainly a sign of job security for some. ;)

I like my SO's soft penis, and think it's sexy, though that's because I think he's sexy. There's prolly a little amusement too in the mix, too. Soft penises are kinda funny, especially when they bounce when guys walk around naked. :D

Ever seen naked guys play volleyball? I caught a show when I was in London a while back. Gotta love the BBC...

I feel that way about cocks, pussies, and most other parts. The person attached to them and faces make or break the arousal. If I'm just focusing on a part, I look at it in a more clinical way, curiously evaluating all of the little pieces that make it what it is. Flacid penises look like alien worms to me: cute, weird, and asexual.

lol, never heard that one before, i'll have to metion it to my GF when i next get the chance (shes on vacation).... Alien worms, rofl

but seriously its the person behind the part that people should pay more attention to, as yoda said "luminous beings are we" :D

So this thread has really stuck in my mind today and had me thinking. Do you know how bad it is to be in a staff meeting and have thoughts of why you like vaginas running through your head? Especially when discussing plans to fund a new Wet Lab(ia) for biomed research?

So anyway I started thinking about why I'm turned on by the female genetalia. So going through my mental rolodex of decades of porn, I thought back to what kinds turn me on. Now first off you have to understand, I find women's bodies extremely arousing and the vagina in particular. Or do I?

I came to the conclusion that just a picture of a random vagina, while intriguing and sparking a natural reaction to look for a bit, really doesn't arouse me. I think it all has to do with the context of the picture and the surrounding activity. For example, a gal in a hospital gown with her legs up in the stirups and knees cranked open does nothing for me. That said, a shot of a wman lounging in an arm chair, a leg thrown over each arm, a hand in mid caress up her inner thigh would put her pussy in an extrmely alluring context. Basically the same physical pose, yet a totally different context.

Exhibit B. A tightly framed shot of a shaved vagina just hanging out, no big deal. That same vagina, labia slightly parted and enflamed, clitoris erect, the entire area glistening with wetness, arousing. Why? Because it tells a story of arousal, of sexual excitment. Has she just experienced pleasure, or just about to, at this poitn we don't know, but the allure of arousal is there.

After much thought I've found the same to be true of any part of a woman's body. A pair of random breasts, intriguing. A woman cupping her breasts, arousing. It's all about context, that's what brings out the response, not the body part itself. If it was just about the body part, strippers could just sit there on stage with their legs spred and guys would just walk by and toss money at them. I know I know, that's how some strip clubs are, but bear with me here.

So I guess my feeling is that there has to be more to an image than just a body part ot make it arousing. That could be a personality(the person attached), an environment(the setting and mood), or a condition(flaccid vs. erect). I guess maybe this is why I don't have too much of a problem with nudity. The naked human body isn't enough to spark arousal, it requires more to trigger that eroticism. At least for me. ;)

I want to personally thank everyone for filling my head with all this useless philosophical garbage. Of course, it certainly made my long boring meeting a hell of a lot more interesting.
