Here's some Dom wisdom for you...

I thought Holstein more refered to the place than the cow.

I've looked it up. According to Wikipedia Schnitzel Holstein was named after Friedrich von Holstein. He was always in a hurry and ordered his Schnitzel and his starter together, so the cook of his favourite restaurant in Berlin put it all on one plate. It was veal, but you can also find recipes with pork now.

Mine was a rhetorical question. The recipes with pork are just called schnitzel. Schnitzel a la Holstein has definite ingredients, one of which is veal.

Are you talking about the 100 Mile Wilderness? If so, then no I have not. That is what I was referring to before. I've done all but about 180 miles of the trail. It was late in the year, I was tired of hiking and I wanted to go home. I know, I know. I shock most thru hikers when I tell them that, but the concept of sleeping for another 2 weeks on the ground when, instead, I could just fly home and sleep in my bed that night was just too much. I'll finish it one day. Mebbe if I ever get married this can be our honeymoon. *shrugs*

Yeah, that section that leads up to Old Speck in whichever notch that is up there. I've heard it takes a day just to hike one mile of trail. All chocked up with glacial erratics.

I don't know that I could recommend it for a honeymoon, unless it was a forced marriage you wanted out of.

Heheh,

The right man will eat it, and me, up. Now to just find that 'right man'.

le sigh

Do what your Dom wants, not just what he tells you. You know what he wants. Don't procrastinate by asking a second time.
