The scales are terribly unbalanced. There are millions of christians activly trying to convert anybody they can. There aren't too many athiasts that do the same.
In fact the sad thing I find is the people with the best belief systems (IMO) are always the ones who are open to letting every one else believe what they want.
These people should get off their open minded asses and start converting some crazy people

I definitely was in the minority with being Christian, and while the atheists around might not have gone from house to house to convert me to atheism, it wasn't easy as a kid to speak out my faith at times, and have to constantly have everyone, including the teachers, argue against me.

I was once one of you!! Then one night when I was 18 my sister heard something downstairs of our house late at night! So she leaned over the stair way and yell who is down there?? She thought it was her boyfriend because she gave him a key to sneek in. The voice that answered wasn't her boyfriend and when the man started up the stairs she realized she didn't know who it was. She went into my mom's room and locked the door! They called the police and within 3 minutes I was woke up to 6 police officers looking down at my naked body! I thought I was in deep shit for drinking earlier. I told them I could walk any line they wanted me to perfectly. They then said they cound a man in my room, the only reply I had was that he wasn't my boyfriend!! The police wanted to make sure that my mother, sister, and I didn't know the guy so they had him sat down in out kitchen. We went downstairs and none of us knew him. Long story short I got two policemen's phone number and the shit scared out of me to boot! I have not slept completly nude ever since!!!

I have thought about situations like that myself. I have gotten to the point where I don't really care so much. I think I would feel just as confidant beating some intruders ass in the buff as I would dressed, and well dealing with cops or something might suck but it wouldn't be the end of the world.

My wife and I have been discussing this recently. We're both into naturism, but we have a fairly young (8 months) son, and we don't know exactly what to do about it. It's good hearing there are families who can make this a non issue. I think we might just continue on our nude ways.

And to respond to the original poster, I concur, I would dearly love to have a nude household where people just shed and hung up their clothes when they came in, and put them back on as they went out. Maybe one day....

It's all a matter of what and how you teach them. You shouldn't have a problem teaching your kid it's fine to run around the house naked but if they have friends over or want to go run around the back yard they better put somehthing on.
I am not quite sure how I would go about it. With wee little ones I wouldn't mind them running around naked at all and probably woudn't be all that bashful around them. I just don't know if that would change as they got older.

Rarely run around completely nude, mainly because my computer chair and couches are psudo-leather, which is not fun to have sticking to one's bottom. Add in roommate, and clothing's a bit nessessary.
Still, in the warmer months, I'll come home, strip and tie a long sarong around my hips and a smaller one around my chest to act as a "shirt" and I'm happy as a clam for the evening. Decent (barely) but comfy still.
Need to make another trip to HI one of these days to buy more sarongs, lol.

Sexual behavior that occurs in an area (even if it's in your own house) where you're likely to be observed is public indecency.
