I have a couple of dogs and a couple of cats in the house; they are super social; if in the first they'd snuggle up to anyone who showed attention, well, apart from my boy dog. He can be aloof. Not to people he knows though. So feel free to grab a cat or a dog of mine for a virtual smooch.

I'm snuggled up with husband and crabby dog who actually doesn't snuggle. We've created a bit of a fort of our own for the afternoon, watching birds and butterflies from our window.

Daddy is gone and will be incommunicado for several days, boooo.

This will be the first time we have been out of touch for more than 24 hours. I am mostly okay but think that I will have little panic-stricken moments of 'I need/want/miss him!' now and then, in which case please throw some tea and ginger snaps at me until I pull myself together again.

Maybe I will just move in here 'til he comes back.
