I have worn no panties at home under my skirt or dress, and yes even gone out without a pair under my skirts. It is a wonderful feeling, especially in the hot weather when my girly parts need much cooling down there. I have also worn no bra. In fact, I enter the woods behind our backyard and strip off where I think it be safe to do so. I love the feeling of nudity, liberation and the thrill of being discovered stark naked.

__ One does abhor the winter, when one cannot wear light fabrics, such as one's button-front dresses, sundresses, pleated skirts and a numerous array from my closet. I have though in warm weather discarded my bra and panties in the days and evenings. I should not do this, but it began with me in my mid-teens, to be returning from school walking through the park, and lift the front of my school skirt up to flash my school regulation panties at the three senior citizen men sitting on the park bench under the trees shaded from the sun. I run off before they can realize what I have just done.

I would agree with you, but I think "Preppy" means different things to different people. I think in this case, the tartan printed miniskirt means it is preppy for some members on here.

I had an ex-wife do a photoshoot one time, and while she was at an elevated age at the time (mid-30's) she definitely depicted the preppy-girl-theme well enough!

Yes tartan and houndstooth skirts are preppy for sure -- the right kind of blouses are part of it too. I think of myself s preppy because of what I wear

Oh for sure.

Plaid (and there are 25 different kinds and thus separately named) CAN make an outfit "Preppy", but it is by no means a requirement. 372 for instance is highly suggestive of Preppiness because of the symbolism: sitting on a desk, in a classroom, and her young age.

But that is not saved exclusively for younger ladies. An older lady could wear the same ting, in the same setting, and pull off the preppy look as well. However, she could also don a plaid skirt as my ex-wife did, and in the confines of our master bedroom, pull off the same preppy-look.

It is one of the reasons I really like the preppy-look however. It is NOT age related, and as I age myself, I love that fact. It is so healthy for a lady to know, she can put on a little skirt for her husband or boyfriend, and be attractive and fun. No age cap and chalkboard required.

____ Preparatory. One here has never before seen or heard the word " preppy." There are words in the Dictionary beginning with prep, but no sign of preppy there in my Dictionary. Unless it be a word introduced since my grandma bought this Dictionary for one here for school. That though is not long ago.

A couple of plaid, pleated skirts is still part of my wardrobe. However, those 18" or shorter ones will not do anymore. Those are for teens, or girls not over their 20s.
