How can I tell...

I'm afraid I wasn't speaking from my own point of view - I had my mod hat on for those comments. If you feel the need to call anyone a fuckwit you are more than welcome to do so according to the rules of Literotica. Those forum rules describe everything that is not allowed. There's no secret clause about "calling someone a (insert insult here) is not allowed" - everything is allowed.

So as the forum rules state, you can only use your ignore list - asking for moderator intervention isn't effective, I'm afraid.

This quote is commonly attributed to the philosopher Voltaire: "I may disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." That's kind of how I feel about this. Even if you don't like what the other says, you and Stup have the right to call each other anything you each desire.

It is intersting that the instructions from the forum note that complaints may be filed for language that is harassing or rude. You do not seem to enforce the same standards in here. So be it. If one needs to listen to some of the drivel that one of our members spews, one should have the means to ignore the person. This will be a first for me. Congratulations, stuponfucius. You're #1 in my book.

Thanks, I will add language in there to indicate "on the basis of sexual orientation." Those lines were added following an instance of gay-bashing, and that is what they were intended to prevent. However I have not seen any gay-bashing in this thread, and so the overall Forum Rules apply.

Edit: Looks like you were referring to a different topic. The "welcome to the forum" thread, which is what I thought you meant, mentions personal attacks, not rudeness or harassment. Could you please indicate where you found something referring to complaints being filed for rude or harassing language?

Also, if you wish to escalate something beyond the mod level, you are always welcome to do so. You can PM the admins yourself, or ask me to talk to them on your behalf.

Click on the exclamation point!

At the bottom right of each post is an exclamation point. Click on that and the page for filing complaints comes up. The instructions are fairly clear. I don't care to go further. If I were at a party and someone like ************ were running his mouth like that, I would simply leave. Here, I can just ignore him. Better that way. No need to go further.

On the contrary, if anything our freedom of speech is slightly more restricted on the GLBT board than the General or others based on sexual orientation as Etoile said.

Of course it's not. But his English is a lot better than your Danish, I'm sure.

Apparently not. However, even if it was, that wouldn't mean he's a better person.

I didn't imply that it did make him a better person, you came up with that one yourself. And please do start posting in the "Other Languages" forum in a Danish thread so we can all see how great your Danish is and how you never misspell anything.

Never mind me, I'm only in this thread to stalk Etoile. Carry on.

Oh, yeah, and to say Hi to Stuponfucious. Welcome back, the place isn't the same without you.

Hey Etolie, it is because the word "racist" used as an adjective in Danish is "racistisk", so I just thought it was "racistic", but now I know better , thanks to a great Scottish guy I know, who corrected me. or is it "who was correcting me" ?

Anyway, that was it really. And well, it is great being a nieghbor to two countries in Scandinavia, where I understand the two other spoken, and written languages, other than my own language. And I like those two other languages alot.

And Etolie, I try every day, being a humanist, and I try hard to be a good human being, but if it makes me a better man or not. Is not up to Stuponfucious to decide, it is up to the people around me every day, and if they think I am a polite, friendly, good, then it is great, since my greatest pleasure, is really making people I care and like happy. And helping in anyway possible, and that is without any hidden agenda in it. Other than trying to get some serious good karma out of it. But if that is a hidden agenda, then it is the only hidden agenda in it. Since I am really doing it out of unselfish reasons.

Sincerely

Wolman1982.

Do or do not. There is no try.

It's people like you who allowed Hitler to come to power. That and that Bismarck pussy. At least I think it was Bismarck.
People like you used to get to me, but they don't anymore. Your time would be better used on a more receptive target, because you don't affect me.

Etolie: You have just gotten another kiss from me on the cheek :) since you make me smile, and don´t worry I know you are gay, so the kiss is just a cyber, admiration kiss :) you are cool, and no I am not an arsekisser, even though licking an arse at times is great ;) :)
