It originally reflected how I saw the Lounge - because ten years ago there wasn't a Lounge. There were simply social threads and they were all animated to be bars. So, Light Ice, was this avatar that fit in with that and wasn't overtly sexual like so many of the other avatars.
I never really fit with the BDSM community here or the overtly sexual themes. For me, with that, it was always a bit of polite dialogue and then that part would come out and hopefully (pleasantly) surprise co-writers.
But overtime, as the Lounge was made and the people on the website changed, a few things drove me to become contemptuous of some of the practices that I saw going on. The drink has kind of evolved, in my mind, from that younger and more engaged part of my personality to a much more critical and cantankerous part of my personality.
It still fits, though, so it works out.
