Aww, that really is sweet. I agree - our friends have been our family since we moved away, and I'd be a wreck if I didn't have them...but sometimes a girl misses her Dad, yanno? :eek:

Anyway, it's all good. And thank you! Nice to know I can pop in here when I'm blue. You made me smile, Raven - that's worth waking the baby up for.
 
Despite my morning wake up call I still feel good! It's my bday and nothing is gonna bring me down!:D
 
I'm a bit down, to be honest.

I was planning on taking a trip over to the US in November to watch the Vikings play the Redskins. But today, just hours before the tickets went on sale, my friend who I was supposed to travel with told me he can't afford it. And since I don't have anyone else to travel with and don't want to do the trip by myself I had to scrap my plans. For the third straight year.

So, yeah... a bit down.
 
Like my brain has been run over by a truck... god, I hate that I'm prone to migraines, but I'm thankful for the medications that exist that can oust/dull down those SOB's.
 
Better than I have been. Managed to get a post or two thrown together. Now I only have like... 7 left to write! Oy.

I didn't say anything about being vulnerable. And I can't promise I'll be fun since there's a 33% chance of vomiting sometime this evening. And those of you who find that fun can stay the hell away.

Well, yes, you could do that. But you'd run the risk of being within firing range, so I imagine that's its own deterrent.
