i remember those days when i was a kid. no matter what mom and dad did, i knew they were banging away. i left the house so as not to hear it. and i understood they wanted privacy. nothing more to embaress the kid is to go ahead and do it anyway. of course, back then, kids wanted to go outside and do things.

It's ok when they are young as you can send them to bed

Our son is 16 & it's driving me mad
He goes to sleep way later than us & seems to be glued to the pc most of the time.

I want to be able to have sex when I feel like it again
I'm sexually frustrated 100% of the time at the moment!!

I think I've told you this one before, but, I've got a friend who claims that she just very pointedly tells her son that she and her hubby want a bit of private time together- apparently son finds an excuse to go out and is out the front door faster than you can say 'time for a quickie' She reckons it's particularly effective if he's got any friends round!
Yes, I believe he's hugely embarrassed by his parents....

No lock on our bathroom, we have been known to go in to the shed though

Well you lock the door and go for it. My kids are out of the house now, but I remember how frustrang that was. In our house or daughters room was across the hall and our sons one down.
We finally decided it was healthy for them to know that their parents still had and enjoyed sex, so we locked the door and went for it. Just tried to keep the screaming to a minimum most of the time. I think it kind of shocke them the first time they realised we were doing it. But then they would just smile the next morning like they had a sexy secret. The good thing is they opened up to both of us about sex after that and we were able to give them advice without it being so awkward.

we tell ours yur going to bed early and mom and dad are going to have sex. he runs to his room slams the door and turns his radio on.

I feel your pain. Our 19 year old just moved out, so now there's just the 16 year old. We both work from home, so that works out during the school year.

What's really helped is our 16 year old getting his driver's license. We'll give him $20 on a Friday night, and he'll say, "Be back at midnight."

In more desperate times, we've had car sex. And garage sex. And lawn sex (watching the Persiads, we say). And land preserve sex.
