When you turn your phone sideways to take a picture, it saves a sideways picture but adds a tag in the photo's EXIF information that says "this is sideways, please rotate it when you display".

However, not all viewers recognise that tag. If you want it to display the same way everywhere, you need to convert it to a non-rotated version. Usually you can do this by opening it in an image editor, rotating if necessary so it looks right on screen, and then "Save As".

Click on the link, grab the URL in the address bar then past that between the two tags. Just like I did for you in your post.

Not html code, BB code, html tags use <> where as BB code tags use [].

You can then go back a remove the attachment from that post. The image still exists in you image storage area.

Many thanks!!

I stand corrected :D thank you again for all your help in the begining.

I also learned today , this morning actually that all these tips work in the PM , private message system as well.

One can either paste in a hyperlink portal

Or embed a image.

attachment.php

Yep, the only thing that doesn't work is you can't attach an image like you can in the forums.

Now I guess that I should explain the rule about copyrights. If you didn't take the image yourself, someone else has the copyright. You can't attach an image unless it is yours. Just because you find it elsewhere on the web, doesn't mean it's not someone else's copyright.

Testing posting a gif

tenor.gif

Cool beans it worked, gif snaked from the drunkard apes post by just coping the code after using the quoting funtions.

It's all about the code man , the code

<---- and as you can see you can post a GIF as your avatar. Size restriction do apply. The more frames the bigger the file.

Pics

Is there a way to post pictures from my photos on my iPhone?
