Do you really prefer the taste of it? If you were offered soda, milk, coffee or whatever, would you be tempted to go for a glass of piss instead? I don't like the taste. I'm guessing you're sexually aroused by the taste more than just liking it the way you'd like orange juice. And I'm not giving you a hard time. Just curious.
Seriously, it tastes fantastic. I remember the first time I tried watersports and mentally gearing myself up for something foul tasting - it really wasn't like that. Most of the time it tastes wonderful, it has a slight minerally taste and, when fresh, gives you a nice warming, comforting glow. I know it can be affected by what you eat and a Vindaloo the night before is probably njot adviceable. OK, admittedly I wouldn't ask for it at a restaurant!. And I think that you are right in saying that context is everything and if you are mentally aroused and in a submissive state you will probably enjoy it a whole lot better.

This thread makes me think of a short story I read. The collection was Futures from Nature, edited by Henry Gee. (The journal had/has a column where authors could write a short story about what the future might be like, and these are selected from many years of the journal.)
I'm pretty sure the story was Nadia's Nectar by Ian Watson. Guess what you can buy at the grocery store.....
I enjoyed the collection, with there being a wide range of amusing, disturbing, tantalizing and just plain weird stories. Some of them were all at once.
As far as waterplay in person.....doesn't have much appeal, but I can understand from hearing people talk why it appeals to them. Thanks for sharing.

Are watersports ONLY about peeing? I've just never really heard of this/not interested in it, but I'm curious, because I've heard the term.
I know there are many forms to this play, I like most of the forms of water play, the only one I can say for sure I do not like isthe dunking. I am terrified of being dunked, if I get submerged without being properly ready I will panick and end up swallowing large ammounts of water.
