how many people do you have on ignore?

Like 80, but most of them are GB alts (like the White Power ones) and spammers. Almost all the rest are prolific GB posters who flood the board or never have anything useful to say.

I don't think I've ever ignored a non-spammer from HT, or any of the other boards. I won't ignore anyone who asks/tells me to because a) it tends to annoy them, and b) they can iggy me if they don't care for my posts.

I just stay the hell out of the GB, unless there's something non-political or something like it (like nice pictures). I've just cleared my ignore list, I don't run into the people I had on ignore.

As far as I can tell, all the drama seems to have started when Nasty_Deeds bumped some older threads to give advice that had already been given. I don't think it would have been that big of a deal if he hadn't gotten so defensive when he was called on it. He has some pretty decent things to say when he's not going out of his way to be an ass napkin.

For me, it was when he posted, Ed and I called him on something, then he PM'd me saying I was rude and asking me to put him on ignore. Apparently, he did the same to many others here. Then he started trolling and letting the insults and accusations fly.

I just saw him in a couple of topics, and seemed fairly sane, so *shrugs* Never stick with first impressions, I guess is the moral here.

it really all started here. this is the 51st post in the thread. the OP posted (#14 in the thread) that no further guidance was necessary: she discussed the matter with her husband. she even posted a follow-up (#26). literally dozens of posts were made before nasty deeds decided to weigh in.

you can see for yourself what happened thereafter in that thread. i even offered him a chance at starting again, given that he was fairly new, but with buttsore attention whores, there's no re-starting. :>

I don't have anyone on my ignore list but then again I don't have anyone on my buddy list either, I don't use the GB so maybe that is why I haven't had to use the Ignore button though!

Yeah, I venture into the GB rarely and find reading through most of the threads like staring at a car accident or something. It's...entertaining...to a point..

Haha somehow I thought I was the only one who avoids the GB. Maybe that's why I have nobody on ignore right now. That and that people who send me stupid PMs don't really post in the forums anyway, they just lurk for people who they think will cyber with them, so I don't really have anything to ignore.
