HT dispose of disposable razors

In the UK needles need to go into a hazardous waste bin, which can be given to any pharmacy to dispose of. I don't believe the same is true for razors - you can chuck them in the bin if you want to, although it's a good idea to tape them up first so they don't inconvenience yr binman.

So, what I get from this is, your binman moves the stuff from your bin into his bin with his hands?

See in the states we are a little more mechanized, our bin man has a truck that picks up the your bin and with a hearty thrashing empties it into his truck. Even if they don't have an automatic bin emptier, the bin man picks up your bin and upends it into the back of his truck without touching anything inside the bin.

Safety razor blades, single and double edged, even the small ones for brow shaping etc… have to be treated the same as needles while capsule ones can just be put in the bin. In some areas you have to separate them out with other non recyclable plastic waste.

Personally I found doing my legs with a safety razor so much better, plus no plastic waste and the blades are really cheap. Although I got the razor from cycling shop in Germany and it has a longer handle than the regular ones.

All the safety razor blades I've bought come in little dispensers, and you can slide the used blades into the dispenser and dispose of them that way. I never know there was any different way to buy them.

You’re supposed to get them disposed of properly but most people don’t. Due to using needles and other sharps in bdsm I have looked more into it.
