That is where I have been wanting to move for 20-30 years. I just can't seem to get there. My best friend lives in Asheville, but I would like to go NW from there.
I understand, I live just outside of Asheville myself, born and raised here O how I miss the old day's when we were a small town nobody knew about lol. The NW is still pretty quiet and peaceful but like everywhere else it's starting to grow to and expensive so bad the natives are leaving right out of highschool and that's a shame

Since I started looking at houses up there the houses have more than doubled. I did look in W. Yes they have and only getting worse, if you don't inherit something you can't afford anything here, then paying taxes here becomes a burden there outrageous and they just increased them OMG.
It really is, I've looked into West Virginia myself as I'm retired and it's looking better and better

My best friend bought her house in Asheville for a 150K and now it's almost worth 900k. It's crazy! The cost is why I started looking in W Virginia and TN. I would like some property too.

I have several more years till I retire more than a decade. Job search is also a must.It really is, I've looked into West Virginia myself as I'm retired and it's looking better and better
I get that, they are harder to find up there unless you live in the northern part, then again you have to deal with high prices

I made broccoli salad the other day. Turned out good, but yes it did stink up the house for a bit.
