"Is Erotica under represented at the Hay on Wye festival?" Arguably, it is under-represented at Literotica, unless one thinks that all sex stories are erotica. I think for example, that Jane Austen's novels are erotic in terms of the suppressed sexuality they portray, Mansfield Park and Persuasion being obvious examples.
I have been to Hay twice; even if only 10% is of particular interest that's pretty good for a festival, and enough to be thoroughly involved for a couple of days. The biggest attraction for me is the chance to meet a lot of seriously smart people.
