I've seen a lot of forums and this one is the worst for dumb usernames by far.

I mean "fuckmeat"? Really?

I'm sure you're a nice person and all but that's not something I ever want to type with any seriousness.

I don't know. I appreciate her handle. It's straight to the point. It speaks volumes about what she likes, how she wants to be treated, what turns her on, how she might care to play. (At least, that's the impression I get, anyway!) She wants to be abused. She's a set of holes, a beautiful piece of sex flesh, a body to be objectified and used. However, I think what makes me enjoy her moniker as much as I do is the fact that FM is pretty damn sharp. Her scenes are always well written and she does great things with characterization. So her name is a bit ironic, because she's NOT just a piece of fuckmeat, not really - she's a smart, sexy woman who knows just what she's doing. It wouldn't be as effective if FM came across as a complete and utter dolt.

I mean, yes, if this were a different forum 'fuckmeat' would make me go, "Huh?" But this isn't your grandmother's needlework discussion board. This is Lit. And here, it fits.

I picked 'Fuck Fantasy' because I wanted to, ah, grab the room's attention every time I entered. I liked that it gave the impression that I was there to fulfill your every wet dream. I liked the alliteration. And I liked my flowery profile that went along with it. It was a bit over the top, I'll admit... something about how I was 'a bright, smoldering star against an otherwise blackened sky of mediocrity, a moan-inducing body with a penchant for sucking and fucking, and the insatiable desire to tease and please. Can you handle this much heat?'

I know. I KNOW! But the chat crowd isn't at the same level as all you brilliant board people, not generally. So it was enough to attract the kind of intelligent, revved up kind of partners I wanted. And it was fun pairing a pretty direct name with a slightly more ~sophisticated~ profile. (One I soooort of cringe over now, lol.)

I don't know if it exactly fits me here, however. Sometimes I see other names and wish I could change mine to something a bit less elementary.

If you feel your name is giving the wrong impression or not coming off as you intended, then make a new one.
My suggestion? Nothing so set in trying to convey your interests in that tiny space, but some type of word/phrase/THING fitting of you. As the others have said, they chose theirs as something unique to them.

"Mephistophelily" is a combination of things.
-Mephistopheles, a term for the devil originating in Germany. (I'm german, and told I can be a hellion.)
-Mephiskapheles, a Satanic ska band. (Their play on the word influenced mine.)
-Lily, my favorite character on Crossing Jordan, and one of my favorite flowers.

But to create a name shouldn't be that complicated to think on. I mean, for years, I was known by the noise one of my favorite cartoon characters made.


Explaining your interests in your profile makes things easier than trying to explain a confusing miswording in your handle. But even explaining in more detail, or linking the meaning behind it that you've posted here in your sig, could make that easier for you, and eliminate the feeling you have to make a new name.

To your original question, Cuck: I'd say, yes, it was a bit inaccurate. however, the term-cuckold-is currently undergoing a transformation in popular usage so it invites this sort of confusion when you refer to the term in your handle.

Classically it refers to a man whose wife cheats on him, that's it.
Now it's becoming more and more common to mean a man who is belittled and humiliated by his wife to the point where he enjoys the degradation so much that he gets turned on by men giving her the fucking he feels he's incapable of giving her.

I'd say your solution would be to provide some form of clarification in your signature to the brand of cuckold you would prefer to be associated with, rather than starting from scratch with a new handle.
