My summation
No, poetry will never be in decline. wherever true poetry lovers are it will be written, read and listened to. And with people like Russel Simmons pushing spoken word, and the resurgence of cafes and tea and coffee houses springing up in small; as well as moderate towns and large cities, we have only to go and enjoy it. Plus with the severe crack down on drinking and driving it's a real alternative to going to a night club, or bar and getting smashed, then running the risk of losing your driver's license or worse but that's my opinion. If it is in decline it's only for the luke warm and non poetry lovers. just one poet's opinion
