Interesting article. She presented some amazing research. I was completely unaware of the size of that genre of sales and "services".

I will admit to having wondered from time to time whether there were any day spas near me that offer happy endings for ladies.![]()
There’s a lot of conflicting information about. In my area I’ve seen articles claiming there’s lots available but I can’t find anyone with openings for the vaccines. I’ve also seen an article stating not enough people are signing up in my area.

And our oh-so-wise governor has signed an end to ALL Covid restrictions effective July 1. The article reported him saying that 9 million out of 23 million have been vaccinated and that is sufficient for lifting the restrictions.
He is also quoted as saying that those 14 million without have had ample opportunities to get vaccinated and have evidently decided not to do so.
We are just now able to schedule our vaccinations as ordered by the infectious disease specialist for our county that saw us in the hospital. He said we had to wait 90 days posts hospitalization. According to him we carry immunity for quite a few months after being infected.
Woke up to learn that a childhood friend died of an overdose last night. She was doing better. Talked to her one week ago.

I need a soundproof place to practice my overtone and throat singing. At this rate I'll be evicted in no time.

Finally a legit reason for learning how to drive. Maybe I should do it. Of course that leads to having to buy a car and that leads to the big issue of where to park it. But it would allow me to practice throat singing, so... Maybe worth it?See, this is what cars are for. Actual transport is just an excuse for having a place to sing with abandon.
Can we hear? I enjoyed your other vocalizations.![]()

Almost any other kind of vocalization is more likely to be posted in public than my singing. I’m so not a singer. I’m okay with singing in a huge group or in a place where I know for sure no one will hear me, otherwise I’ll just shut up. That’s destination Humiliation Town, big time.
The throat singing and also overtone singing in general are just something to control the voice to make cool sounds.![]()
Big city parking? Ugh. That is pretty high level masochism.
The first car I drove after getting my license was an old Celica without power steering and the original steering wheel had been exchanged for a littl sports variety. We lived in a hopeless area when it came to parking. I cried a lot and walked through rather unhealthy neighborhoods by night after having parked way off but my biceps developed nicely.
Sing in the shower perhaps?

Someone Is Wrong On A Discussion Board!!!!
I'm trying to sit on my hands and not meddle, but I don't know how much longer I can do this.
So, should we hel talk you down or help plan the invasion?
Sorry to hear thatIt's always hard with stuff like that.
Is it just me or are D/s break-ups a bit worse than normal ones as well? Couldn't stand the thought of submission for awhile afterwards, craving it now but feels just ugh.

I think I'll keep sitting on my hands. It's about etymology and using that as proof for something historical. We have lots of Proto-Germanic loans that are kind of frozen in time and now someone is spinning it all out of context. And of course only choosing the loans that fit their weird theory (like *kuningaz for king [kuningas in modern Finnish]), but ignoring others like (*aiþi for mother [äiti in modern Finnish]). Stuff like that drives me up the wall! It's not normal to react like this.
So I won't engage.
