After days of rigorous hermitting I feel like talking to people. Not in person, of course, that's a step too far. Haven't hermitted enough for that yet.

So, I went in the Lit Chat for the first time ever, or at least I don't remember ever being there. Now, where's all the chatter at? I realize it's not the prime hours because the US is mostly sleeping, but there seem to be people there, only no one says anything. How does it work?

But how do you know who you might want to talk with if no one ever says anything in public? Do you just randomly message people in private? I checked out a few of the smaller rooms too and they were just as dead as the room you arrive at when you sign in.

I guess if random private messaging is how it goes, the screen name makes all the difference there. Maybe I have to make a new profile with the name TrixieMcSlutserson and see what happens.

I get an "empty my PM box every 4-5 years" amount of PMs, which I don't think is an insane amount of PMs. So yes, I think I'd get so many more if I actually did come here with the Trixie username. Or basically any other username than I have now. But Trixie was a social experiment and will not be used for evil alt activities, I promise.

Yup. Trixie got bombarded. One message was, roughly, "god what an airhead, good thing I'm here only to talk to your tits". Fingers crossed Trixie's nipples are particularly dextreous, because otherwise the chat with boobs might get a little boring.
