I am definitely considering the pro Domme thing. Daddy thinks it's a good idea, too. I've been doing phone sex and online Domme stuff (plus a few clips) for years, so it wouldn't be a huge leap. I'm mostly concerned that my toy and clothing collection are not extensive enough for me to pull it off. Well, that and the fact that I have nosy-ass neighbors.

I sympathize. Our neighborhood has a retired code enforcement worker that thinks she's still employed. If we get so much as a delivery with a big box or two, I find her standing at the edge of the yard trying to see what it is. She stays at the edge of the yard after hubby called the police on her while we were pulling out bushes due to a plumbing issue. She tried to make us stop because we didn't have a permit for removal and actually came on the property uninvited. We have a couple of nasty names we call her when she's not around. LOL

Just be careful about the coming and goings and not allow anything outside or on the front porch and you should be fine. That would be a fun way to supplement your income I think.

Well, I've almost finished cleaning the house for the rental people's walk-through tomorrow. It'll be completely done before I go to bed tonight.

I'm just nervous because they've never done this before in all the years I've lived here. Yes, I noticed. Personally, I really dislike when a post, that's been dead for years, gets bumped. Didn't understand the 20 year old thread, with no posts for 3 years, that got a 'bump' without even any additional thought/contribution. I blame the 'similar threads' at the bottom of a page with no regard to the age of the threads. It's easy to assume it's a current thread if Lit posts it as similar.

That's a good point. I have been ignoring the "threads that a similar" list at the bottom, but I can see how it might be tempting to post. It has taken a bit of practice to really look at the dates of prior posts....
I agree if you are going to bump a thread, add to it substantively.
For instance, the old sadists thread has had some really interesting content and has generated some new conversation. I like that

The weather forecast was cloudy with a bit of rain. It was cloudy about half the time, but the rest was almost clear skies. I definitely had not planned for that and good lord does my face regret it.

Even the backs of my hands are sunburned which is a first. I went biking… But at least I saw the puffin so there’s that.

The hot days full of sun were not an issue at all because I prepared for it. Sigh.

Maybe concentrate only on Christmas stuff because then you’ll have a little longer to make and sell them?

Do you have something that you already know how to make, and would therefore be a little faster to make, that you can “Christmasify” and then maybe have a few different versions of the same thing?

As for inspiration, look into Icelandic Christmas traditions with their 13 Santas, Christmas cat and so on. They might spark your imagination.

I do actually have some things I already know how to make that I made *last* Christmas. So all I have to do is find my patterns again--they're supposed to be safe on my Pinterest--and I should be good. In theory, anyway, lol.

No one is answering my texts, and the couple of people who are talking to me just want to whine about their own problems and get annoyed at me because I'm not being attentive enough to their issues. Ugh. I need to be working, but I'm on the verge of tears, so I can't.

I sent a package to a friend, within the country even, (yarn and knitting needles and dried mushrooms) and the dude at the post office asked a lot of questions about it. I thought the questions were a bit weird. Like if the shipment is “personal or intimate in nature”. I answered yes, and then I asked if he has to ask the questions to detect possible drug parcels and he gave me a really sharp look.

I’m pretty sure my friend is never going to get the package now, sigh.

I have no clue what the questions were about, never had that happen before. I should have just done everything myself online and there wouldn’t have been any weird questions. Sigh.
