It's all about the polarization

Just look at the social composition of the overclass. They're the ones who decide what happens and what doesn't. They're the ones who control the "Deep State" to the extent there is such a thing.

Joseph Palmi: "Let me ask you something... we Italians, we got our families, and we got the church; the Irish, they have the homeland, Jews their tradition; even the niggers, they got their music. What about your people, Mr. Wilson, what do you have?"

Edward Wilson: "The United States of America. It's ours. The rest of you are just visiting."

-- The Good Shepherd

Great line in a great movie.

I do believe this elite class of folks has been shrinking and disolving....this has our far right racists and facist worried....that their "ordered" world is vanishing. You can hear them lament this loss her all the time.

I see this elite class morphing into a new group of fewer indigo with a whole lot more concentrated power...and it now includes the likes of Bazos, Zuckerberg, Branson, others....it isn't just old crusty racist white guys anymore. That has the right and far right extremely worried.

I speak English, French, and Wingnut. Here, the translation is "If them goddamn feminazis and n*****s remembered their place, we'd all get along fine!"

See Rule 12 in Alinsky's Rules for Radicals

One of the Kennedys, I think it was a woman, once remarked in the early 1960s, "I would hate to have to explain to a foreigner the difference between Democrats and Republicans." In those days, each party had liberal and conservative wings, and the division was not so much ideological as regional or tribal.

But that changed in the 1960s. The Dems got behind the civil rights movement, the Pubs reacted by turning against it (before that they had mostly been for it), and over the next decade the RW Dems migrated over to the GOP and the Rockefeller Republicans went Dem. What was the Democratic "solid South" is now solidly red.

Now we have a party system that actually aligns with the ideological/cultural divide. Which raises the stakes -- every election and every bill is an ideological/cultural contest.

And that is why American politics are now more acrimonious than they've been since the Vietnam War ended.

The big gigantic left wing lie.

Can't show a single case of this.

Because liars gotta lie. :D

Pure racist willJ fantasy.

Why do you have such a problem with white people??? Bigot.

The big gigantic left wing lie.

Nope. What you boldfaced there is exactly what happened. If that bothers you so much, why not try to do something about the endemic racism that has become such a feature of your party anymore? The Dems could do it, the Republicans can too - if they're willing to accept that it will cost them the racist vote.

Yup.

Nope. What you boldfaced there is exactly what happened.

Then why are Democrats the only party with racial identitarianism as their official platform??

Why are Democrats STILL the only party pushing for racial segregation???:)

You're pushing the other side of the coin but its still the exact same currency.

Since you're a "liberal", what do you care what the Republicans do?

As a liberal it's in my best interest to pay attention to that so I'm not supporting the more authoritarian party.

Currently, (R)'s are the more liberal party.

Liberalism is NOT a synonym for 'democrat' despite the uneducated folks use of it as such.

(D)'eez??? Have lost their fucking minds with racial identitarianism and the lefty pursuit of equity of which there is no liberal version or ideal.

Because liberty ALWAYS results in inequity, and pursuing equity ALWAYS requires authority to oppress and often abuse.

This is why liberalism is inherently right wing.

So two post above you deny ever lamenting the changes that are happening, via democracy and voting mind you, and then here is the lament two posts down:

Equity, equality, racial identity politics, gender politics and liberty can and do exist together just fine.

They just don't match up in your mind...which we all know.

That's an assessment of their current political position.

Not a lamentation....

Definition of lamentation
: an expression of sorrow, mourning, or regret : an act or instance of lamenting

And certainly not one over any imaginary class of elites dissolving.

Do you know what the " blue book" for elite families is?

How about the " green book" for African American families? This is off topic but I'm curious if you are aware.

Yes I'm aware of the blue book.

The "green book" I'm aware of was for traveling AA's so they would know what hotels to stay in and services were available.

IDK if that's the one you're referring too.

So, what is the blue book?

Oh look your own link says I was right. :D

When she made her debut in 1963, the Blue Book — so named for its dark blue cover — doubled as a directory for the city's upper class. For members of the elite
Since its founding in 1888, the Blue Book has documented the whereabouts and lineages of many blue bloods of the area,

A ruling class of white elites...existed in the past and to this day but dissolving somewhat.

It's a social group....founded so they didn't step on each others toes when planning events.

They are not a ruling class of white elites, that would be leftist histrionics. ;)

Blahahahaha....ya just thought that up didn't you.

Oh well....back to school or remain a dummy.

Back in the Kennedy era the difference was opposing views to allow for debate and discussion.
Now a days the democrats use the two party system as a method to destroy debate and discussion by creating nonsense topics to eliminate discussion of actual value.

You win the Projection Award for the day!

No it's not an argument, but it IS a way of life for you (along with ascription and hypocrisy).

Stay salty, snowfrake-san!

You've demonstrated several times, you don't even know what ascription is, despite regularly engaging in it yourself.

And probably pretty vague o hypocrisy is seeing as you've fucked that up a few times.

Ad hom is about the very best you've ever managed too. :)

  • Ascription is when you call anyone against iCE concentration camps in favor of "Open Borders"
  • Hypocrisy is when you accept government welfare each month while excoriating other who do so
  • Ad Hom is when you call anyone you disagree with politically "Anti-American".

Immigration as a threat is a nonsense topic. China as a threat is a nonsense topic. Democrats as Communists is a nonsense topic. Practically everything you'll see RW pundits talking about is a nonsense topic.

LOL Rob confirms he has no fucking clue what ascription, hypocrisy or ad hom is.

Good job also still not understanding that abolishing ICE = open borders too.

I still have never received a single penny of welfare.

And ethno-socialism will ALWAYS be anti-American....no matter how much you love it!!

I'm not the salty one bigot. :D
