I'm going to be 26 in a couple of weeks and that's kinda depressing because I'm getting that much closer to being 30. Also, if I'm going to be honest about it, I've always surrounded myself with older guys because guys my age, they don't do nothing for me. Never have and never will. The only guy that I was ever with sexually, who was closer to my age was my 1st real boyfriend and the father of my oldest. And you see how that worked out.

Age and feeling older are a matter of perspective. This has me feeling old as my daughter will turn 29 this year. I’m closer to 55 than 50. Yet I feel like my early 20s most days. Children can be an amazing blessing (even though they can be a pain).

For what it’s worth I liked your post because there isn’t a like/hate option . You’re no where near 30, 26 is like a perfect age and I’m sure I speak for a lot of us when I say I’d gladly give up a kidney to be back there.
