It's hard to know Trump's actual net worth, as most of his properties are heavily mortgaged. Despite his claims of having cash reserves, his lawyers have confirmed that he doesn't have enough resources to fund his appeals. In reality, he is "cash poor," meaning he has very little liquid cash on hand.
Trump is not yet a winner; he is, at most, a survivor. I hope you count yourself a much better winner than Trump. He is morally broken; I hope you haven't sunk to his level in either business or personal affairs.
We should consider all available information when formulating an opinion. Your sources are no better than mine, and your legal background does not necessarily make your argument more accurate. By considering all perspectives, we can ensure our discussions are fair and well-informed.
"I have confidence in my methodology and game plan. As you said, no game plan can survive the first contact intact. If necessary, I am adaptable. However, the true victory will be determined by the court of public opinion on November 5th. It is then that we will find out which individual will lead our nation in a free and fair election. Hopefully, it will be the sane and rational one who is not fueled by belligerence and lies."
No, most wealthy people are not cash-poor. They plan and have sufficient cash on hand as part of being good financial stewards, a la David Ramsey with all those little envelopes—he preaches that you put aside cash for emergencies. And Musk, nearly a Trillionaire, certainly has cash assets at hand, as does Gates - can't say anything about Ramaswamy. Most wealthy people are "cash poor" because their wealth is tied up in assets which aren't readily convertible to cash.
When people say that Trump isn't wealthy because of this, they're also saying that Musk, Ramaswamy, Gates, and all the rest are also not wealthy.
It's just more of the BS they're feeding you in order to try and control you through your emotions. You've been taught to hate and not think about why.

Sure the wealthy have assets tied up in property and businesses. They also prudently balance those ratios. If not, their wealth falls like a ton of bricks if they screw up. Speaking of screwups - there is Donald.
Trump pays fast and loose with his money and lies. He has screwed up, been bailed out, and re-screwed himself to the point he is where he is today. Nothing at all to do with politics. It is all to do with financial lies and moral improprieties.
Trump's entire life has been fraught with problems of his own making, most due to undiagnosed mental issues and his narcissism. His psychologist niece, Mary Trump, said that all stems from his narcissistic, untreated, mentally ill background.
He lied about E. Gene Carroll, other women, the Atlantic City casinos, involvement in fake electors, election interference classified documents in Florida, fraud in New York, Georgia, and others. He lied about having control of his father's wealth prior to his death. He lied when he called a reporter pretending to be 'John Barron' to get his name on the Forbes' list of wealthy people. He stiffed payments to his staff, lawyers, and lenders.
The counterpoint is that according to John Barron, Donald Trump never did one thing wrong in his life and was super wealthy and debt-free. [He could have done a 'debt-free scream for David Rasmey's Radio show at that point.]
Trump may have had some cash on hand. It certainly dissipated like an off-shore hurricane landing in Florida. Indictment after indictment, legal issue after legal issue, sex, scandal, bribery, fraud, deceit, and mayhem certainly were not envisioned and, therefore, he was unprepared for them.
Someone famous said, 'Shit happens - to Donald.'
No one can feed anyone that much BS to control their emotions or mine. Though, Trump's incessant lying feeds it to his MAGA group.
No man on earth has been pushing his burdens uphill as much as Trump, except maybe Sisyphus.
Admit it. Trump brought this upon himself, and no one on earth should feel sorry for him or accept that he is innocent of any charges. The man is not fit to run our country.

"By this almost anyone can tell you have no wealth or assets because you don't understand how money works.
"If you have cash on hand hiding in the mattress it's not earning you anything. Wealthy people understand that's about the dumbest thing you can do with money so they invest it. The investments with the best returns aren't fungible and that restricts your access to your money.
"If you believe otherwise, it's because you have no wealth."

Arpy, you missed the point, or side-stepped it, to ridicule me for what I wrote about Trump's issues. My wealth has no bearing on Trump's tribulations. You have done some really speculative work conjecturing about my own understanding of how money works. I've addressed that in other threads that you probably didn't read or don't remember.
Having 'cash on hand' doesn't mean 'mattress money' or that it isn't invested. In the business sense, it refers to cash or cash equivalents (CCE), which is the total amount of cash a business can access, whether from its on-site paper bills or from its bank accounts and assets. Typically, business owners consider any asset they can liquidate into cash in 90 days or fewer as cash on hand.
Just FYI, my portfolio is well diversified and includes real properties as the primary streams of income. Unlike Donald, I am truly debt-free - it took a lifetime - but I'm there with a seven-digit Networth statement, according to my CPA.
You can't see my grin, but it's a big one laughing at you right now. I'm really doing just fine, so don't worry about my understanding of wealth. Go help Donald, he needs good legal advice and all he can get at this point - but don't expect to get paid much - there is not much left of his 'billions.'
Deflection again? You failed to address any of my statements regarding Trump. It is an increasing 'trademark' for you to obfuscate and use personal attack mode when you have no 'facts' to support the issue at hand.Your lack of understanding about money has EVERYTHING to do with how you believe Trump has no money. He has few LIQUID assets, but he's not bankrupt.
Your self serving net worth statement is worthless. Just as worthless as me telling you that I own two residences because none of it can be proven.
So go ahead an chortle in your soup because you're the one looking like a fool. Just as you usually do.
Deflection again? You failed to address any of my statements regarding Trump. It is an increasing 'trademark' for you to obfuscate and use personal attack mode when you have no 'facts' to support the issue at hand.
Before you get too deep into believing Trump's massive wealth claims, please, take a look at some of his New York assets - they give one pause for concern about his liquidity and networth claims. This link gives everyone a window into why he was charged with fraud. Sure, Trump is a paper millionaire or possibly a billionaire.
Trump's NY Real Properties and Claims
Of course, Trump has 'wealth.' Obviously, he is not 'bankrupt.' And thanks to his self-inflicted actions, he clearly has 'liquidity' issues. He rose to the challenge of finding a financial resource at the eleventh hour, and Chubb stepped up for the sexual assault appeal funds - 83.3m. He has a long history with the company. To have backed his bond, Chubb most certainly saw some value in his properties or whatever he put up as collateral.
Trump is now waddling toward the next hurdle on the appeals track, getting 454m for the NY fraud case by March 25th. That is a high hurdle on the next leg of his ... waddling to that appeal.
I knew when you said I didn't have any money or understand financing, my saying I did would get a childish response from you. It was a guaranteed trigger point for you. That idea was part of my grin in the last post, knowing how you would be triggered. [Elsewhere, I've pointed to my background, MBA in finance by the way - and I know you said you wouldn't accept that as truthful. Well, and good, you don't accept much of anything or allow anyone else to accept contrary facts to your belief system as well. That's fine.]
As a highly successful lawyer, I believe a person of such stature can have title to two houses. That's not a high hurdle to achieve; it's really a low bar for attorneys who understand finance and money management. I'd accept your claim at face value—but, as you said, it doesn't mean anything and isn't relevant to Trump's tribulations.
Surprisingly, wealth acquisition via real property acquisition is one of the best and easiest roads to riches, even for high school graduates who apply themselves, work hard, and diligently follow a few simple steps. Think 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' by Robert T. Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter or Napoleon Hill back in the thirties. Even David Ramsey, has a building wealth strategy that thousands of people are using to get out of debt and become wealthy. It relies, of all things, on being debt-free, unlike Donald!
I'm not serving anything here but a commentary on Trump's sorrowful bucket of woes. I encourage others to see through his facade and hopefully find him to be a bad person, one not worthy of returning to the Presidency. If courts clear him in legal matters, I'm okay with that. Just don't write him a ticket to the White House.

Anyone can opine on any subject. Having understanding or knowledge of the subject is not necessary . You're a prime example of someone who shouldn't opine on anything. But here you are.....Anyone who doesn't understand that is part of a vast witch hunt with political goals is too naïve to credibly opine on the subject.
I opine. You opine. We all opine as allowed by our Constitutional rights. Isn't that correct - or did Trump issue an order against free speech in his labeling the press as fake news in that vast witch hunt?Anyone who doesn't understand that is part of a vast witch hunt with political goals is too naïve to credibly opine on the subject.
Your comment is a bit ambiguous here. Are you referencing HisArpy as someone whose motivation is hate? The pronoun antecedent seems to indicate that since you reference his quote in your response. I thought you two were twins when it came to sharing opinions.Hate is his prime motivator.

I've not got my knee on your throat in an attempt to silence you. Do the same. Be respectful. Your mother taught you better, or she should have.
To quote a forum personality of note, "I don't particularly care if you don't like it."
Thanks. I'm pretty sure I quote my sources or paraphrase them, not plagiarize them.Trust me, it's BOREDOM over the wall of text bullshit you're putting out. No one has time to read that shit because what it really shows is that you've decided that whatever I say it's wrong and you're going to go to bat to prove it. Even when it makes you look like a complete asshole, you're all in on it.
Good luck with that.

Neat, coming from a guy who often starts threads where his "headline" doesn't support the opinion he is presenting....I'm amazed you even know of the word comprehension wrongway, maybe looking up the meaning should be the next step in your education. You'd know that if you could follow the thread with comprehension.

I was sure you were. It's just that your friend isn't as bright, and he may have thought you were talking about him. I hate to have you lose your only friend and life support over a misidentified pronoun.I was referring to you. You'd know that if you could follow the thread with comprehension.

I've said before that you have a right to express your opinion, just as others do. Everyone has a bat. What's important is that they use it to bat ideas into the outfield, not bat the umpire over the head when he calls them out.
I enjoy reading what you submit. It is quite provocative. When you are not tearing up someone's self-worth or going batshit crazy over someone trumping your thread, you have provided some intelligent thoughts on occasion. I'll give you that.
Have a better day.
That's damn right funny given the quote comes directly from YOUR own postings to every link here.To avoid plagiarism issues you have to give the proper attributes to the original author.
You attributed your words to no one. "A forum personality of note" is not the author, it's your description of someone.
So spare us the lies and the plagiarism.
